Printed Maple Chinese Checkers - Made in USA

This is an update to a low star review made previously. The first review stated that the box arrived with only marbles inside and it did not seem tampered with, so it may have been empty from the factory when it was sent to the distribution warehouse. So, buyer beware. It could have been a one off for us, but it could happen again to someone else. Otherwise, the replacement board is very good quality. The wood is heavy and painted well. We didn't have any problems picking up the marbles out of the pockets. Although, one person commented that the marbles could be better, that may be true, but I think it would increase the price if they did that. The marbles it came with are perfectly fine. To be honest, it's the board that was the mozt important to us. I imagine many many games played on this for years to come.

This set was my first choice when looking for a Chinese checkers set for my grandchild. It has a thick board, well carved-out spaces for the checkers, fully painted sections, and distinct lines to help a young child move his marbles in the appropriate directions. Add to all that the fact that it is made in America of Vermont maple. We love it!

I love this Chineese checkers set. I ordered 2 others games from other companies and was not happy. This set has real marbles. I keep the marbles in Tupperware. It makes it easier to find the colors you need and is convenient if you want to travel with the game. Marbles stay well in the holes. It’s a little tricky for big fingers but I think all the games are. It’s a nice set and makes a nice gift.

We love this item. very well constructed, beautiful wood and painting and great glass marbles! at first i thought it was a little costly, but after having received it, no. it is worth every penny! and IT'S MADE IN THE USA! Yay!

I decided to go with this option because it is made in the USA. I am so glad I did! The game is beautiful. I love the glass marbles (didn't want cheap plastic ones). The craftsmanship is top notch. Luckily, it arrived the day before our power went out, so we had family entertainment during the outage.

The board is small, marbles ard small and hard for adult size hands. It looks nice, but I will be looking for something larger and suited for adults.

The quality of the board is very nice and I like how the lines are printed to see where you can go. I have played this game multiples times with different family members and they have all said that they like the quality of the board and they like the glass marbles. Only one person whom I played with said that the dark green marbles could have been a lighter in shade as they close to the black marbles. I would definitely recommend this game to others.
