In theory, it's a great idea, a refillable kettlebell, But in execution, it's just an overpriced bowling ball bag. The handle is too small for proper two-handed kettlebell swings. And the handle is so far from the center of gravity that one-arm swings are uncomfortable. The sand inside is so unevenly distributed that most common kettlebell exercises won't feel right. I can't recommend this bag, especially at this price point. Do yourself a favor and buy some real kettlebells instead.

I travel several times a month and also do a kettle bell workout several times a week. It's a fast workout and gets maximum effect in a short amount of time.I also use Air B&B's or stay in economical hotels that don't offer gym facilities. To tell you the truth, even high end hotels have not really caught up to Kettle Bells. There are plenty of weights gathering dust though. This is a perfect product to fold up in my travel bag, fill up with water to the weight I need and do my workout before or after a business meeting without missing a beat. As a recovering Heart Failure and Triple Bypass survivor, I am diligent in my exercise regime.I recently posted a poor review on this product as it was difficult to fill without the water bladder, that is offered as supplementary add-on.I was very impressed that Advantage Nutrition contacted me within days of the review offering a refund and apologies that it did not suit my needs. They are the first supplier that ever approached me asking what they could do to help solve my workout restrictions. I suggested that perhaps the bladder, which I had not purchased with the original kettle bell may make all the difference. I did not want a refund, because the concept fit all my needs. Within a few days a bladder was shipped to me free of charge. That's standing behind your product!I had the chance to try it out on a trip last weekend and it renewed the excitement I originally had for this product. Worked like a charm as I stayed in an Air B&B. Two solid workouts in 2 days and no time wasted looking for a gym. I strongly suggest that the bladder is purchased for ease of use and efficacy. I am a 59 year old woman and the Red 20lb (for water) fits my needs for the time being. I suggest that men get the highest size (Yellow). If you need less weight, simply put less water in it. The yellow one is my next purchase when as I continue to get stronger and tackle harder workouts.One last note. I am more than impressed with the customer service of Advantage Nutrition. If it doesn't work for you, they will make it right.

Nice concept but overpriced for what gets delivered

For what it's worth, technically this product is as advertised. When I got it I was surprised how little material was used in construction. My first thought, was that I couldn't believe I paid $50 for this. I expected it to have an inner bladder at least to contain whatever filler used like my sandbags have. It is just a hollow shell with a folding closure that buckles like a dry bag. Straps seems to be reinforced well, but handle seemed too small and flimsy for me. And no materials about training or setup included. I returned it without using it so I can't speak on behalf of the performance/durability. Couldn't bear to pay that price for something that clearly can't cost very much to construct.

It's a good product in that you can adjust the weight quickly and easily but the handles are too long which changes the weight distribution. The handle length makes it a little difficult for shorter people (with shorter arms) to get a nice swing on the kettlebell. Price is a little steep for the bag but compared to other adjustable kettlebells, it is affordable.

I just used this for the first second time this morning with some gravel/rocks I found near our hotel during a trip to Napa, CA. Helped me have a great workout using Pavel's Simple and Sinister programming. I was initially disappointed when I tried to use water for my weight. They aren't watertight, but it isn't clear that a separate water bladder has to be purchased and furthermore isn't available on Amazon. They were out of stock on the PKB website, but I signed up for email notification.So, good news/bad news. I liked the workout, but wish I could have been able to use water instead of hunting around to find some rocks.I've had some second thoughts at this point. Rocks/gravel work great and provide more weight than water, they can just be difficult to find sometimes and some places.

I took this on vacation and filled it with sand from the beach. Easy to pack.
