Okay for the price. Instructions a little lacking.
I purchased this to help me run scatter parameter plots on RF and microwave components of unknown specs. I have many, many new products that are impossible to sell without some data. The first component was a 2-way divider that covers 0.8 to 1.0 GHz. This VNA was able to show me the insertion loss and VSWR data from .5-1.5 GHz and did so quickly. Being able to save the plots as a PDF (and other) file is great.Calibration was easy and straightforward, and only took a few minutes. Be sure to run the calibration routines with the enclosed cal kit before doing anything else.Instructions could be a lot better. Four or five "how-to" videos would be great. I understand this to be a "Chinese clone" of the other brand, and that may be why there are no instructions with the unit, just a sheet of paper with a few URLs. Downloading the drivers and actual program took a LOOOOONG time because their server kept timing out, but in the end everything worked as it should.Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, and recommend this VNA. 73 and Regards, [email protected]

Bought this miniVNA Tiny+ to replace the miniVNA PRO. Something wrong with the miniVNA pro during the calibration after 1-year use. Use the device to characterize impedance and antenna. One thing would be helpful is to differentiate miniVNA Tiny and Tiny+ thru marking or label. It is somehow confusion which one is which.

This product was rather disappointing.The hardware is not stable and calibration does not persist very long. Obtaining meaningful measurements was problematic, port extension is not accurate, and calibration process itself is not very optimized. Overall, the hardware is very very slow.The software is a parody on the real software designed by the original Mini VNA vendor. The software is a single executable java file that does not permit editing or writing custom configuration. Support is generally not available, and software usability is on par with just about every other Chinese product on earth - disconnected from the user and lacking workflow that would make it actually practical to use.Smith chart is a total joke.
