Pull ***gently*** and it will work
I was a little worried about this breaking apart based on reviews, but I liked the look of this bow and decided to have a go at it. I didn’t want to mess up, so I looked for a video tutorial on YouTube (search “pull bow hallmark signature”). When I pulled the strings, I made sure to go slowly and gently. It stuck in the middle of bow formation, and I carefully looked through the ribbons and the one of the plastic pieces that forces the ribbon into the bow was stuck. I gently shimmied it out of its position and continued with pulling the string. I’m happy it worked for me. I suspect other reviewers pulled too hard and fast, which made it break. I’d purchase this again!

Really big and beautiful
Assembly was easy for the most part, I did add extra adhesive for it to stick. I underestimated how big the bow would be, but it’s perfect for Medium/Large giftboxes! The string was a bit of a struggle to tie for me but definitely not a dealbreaker.

Didn’t fully form into bow
This “bow” comes flat, and you “pull” strings to tighten it into a bow form. Unlike many of the reviews, I found the instructions were clear and easy to follow, and “assembly” took about 10 seconds. My problem was that when pulling the ribbon to form the bow, several of the sections did not form into a bow (they remained flat with no ribbon left between them). I suspect the bow was defective because sections that did not form were in the middle - the sections below and above formed into loops. Had it worked, I would have given it 5 stars, but it didn’t.

Kept coming apart
The round plastic pieces the ribbon is pulled through has slits that allowed the bow to slid through and keep coming apart. I had to keep pulling the bow back out and placing tape on the slits in these plastic pieces to finally make it into a bow. Also needed to tape bow to the box since it didn't adhere by itself.

Do NOT buy!
I bought this stupid bow for my daughters birthday gift. I pulled the string to create the bow and the entire thing fell to pieces!
