I was shook up initially when I saw both ends were the same but that is what you need. hooked it up and it worked with no difference than the other cables that do not have this added section. They are not the thickest cables I have ever seen so that might be cause for concern to some. Perhaps the wire is a little thinner so a long run might be impacted.

It is ok for short distance, the wire is very thin ,(comparing to my Q see kit wire)I would not use it for 100 feet distance, mine was 25 feet which I am not concern about voltage drop , I gave 3 starts one for wire gauge and also it does not say anything that the cable comes with two female adapter which I had to order from different seller (yes it comes with 2 female adapter)

We bought a Night Owl security camera system from CostCo, but it only came with 50 (maybe 60?) foot cables. Three of the four reached. Of course. We ordered this cable to help the last cable reach the hub and it works great. Exactly as advertised for a MUCH better price than we could find anywhere in person.

The item was as described. My fault but I could have used a shorter 10 ft cable. I will buy other cables from GW Security Cable. The cable is small enough to fit in the small space in the siding I also like the color and how they are put together.

This was just what I needed to hook up the ZOSI security camera that I have! Cord is in good shape and will work for a long time. Also, very good customer service from Jamie when I had questions about the product.

I have bought several of these cables in different lengths. The 25' has never worked, it was doa, and one of the 100" cables has died, and two other 100' cable have so much snow & static on it, you I can't a clear picture at night.If you run a 100' cable, test it first before you put the camera up, and even then, make sure you have easy access if you have to replace it. The cables have been running less than a year too.The best luck I have had is with the 60" length. I have 4 of those running camera's and have perfect pictures.

Used this item to install additional cameras in a home security system. Price was fair. Build quality was above average. A much better value than some of the local electronic stores.

After running the cable I found that it did not carry the signal. Thought it was my camera but Defender checked and camera was good. In retrospect I find the cable to be thinner than the original.

Fit perfectly for extending cctv cable, so far no issues
