Great lightweight kettle
The base of the kettle is wide and sturdy but the jug is lightweight and the handle gives a good grip - great for arthritic hands. It wipes clean easily and boils water quickly and fairly quietly. It looks very stylish. This DeLonghi kettle is miles better than my previous Russell Hobbs kettle! The water level indicator is under the handle so its not the easiest to see. The on switch lights up so you can see when its switched on.

Excellent kettle that is also good value
This is a no-nonsense kettle that boils water quickly and relatively quietly, does not seem to scale up readily (I live in a v hard water area), has an easy to clean filter and stays clean on the outside too. It also appears well built, though time will test that! Overall we are very pleased with it and it looks good.

quiet
Very pleased with the style, speed of boiling and especially the quietness of the kettle. Quietness much better than any previous kettle I've owned. Would have given it 5 stars, but for the ugly black stiff thick cord and black plug. Why??? Why spoil the look of a good kettle for the sake of a small extra cost of a white cord. I have a white counter top and tiles, and of course, socket, and the kettle is white. So why Black!!?All kettle manufacturers seem to do this. Would love to know the reason why. My older, cheaper kettle base had a white cord, but hard (impossible?) to get that now.

Best kettle I’ve owned
Lightweight, the lid is Easy to operate, it looks good. Also the kettle is wide and not long, so it is easy to get under the tap, which I didn’t realise was so good until I had it. The kettle is really quiet boiling and very fast and the sides do not get too hot.Negatives- it is difficult to see the level indicator, which is hidden by the handle, is not really an issue for me as I don’t use in any case. Also the casing is plastic, so you lose that high end premium metal feel of some kettles. However they do compensate with metal trim.Overall I would definitely recommend this kettle

Good kettle
Researched before buying this kettle. Which and Good Housekeeping gave good reviews and mostly positive on all the reviews I read on Amazon. Only received a couple of days ago but so far I am pleased. Nice looking kettle. Not too expensive. It's not too heavy. The on switch feels quite sturdy. I'm not a huge fan of push buttons to open the lid as I had another brand kettle where this broke quite easily. So fingers crossed. It's not noisy either.

A great buy!!
A great kettle. Fast to boil and quiet throughout. Looks lovely, a little bulkier than any I've previously had but fab capacity as a result. Compared to the awful Morphy Richards kettle which never properly boiled ever (it was replaced twice with same model but obviously was just a poor quality piece of junk , this is, so far, a much superior replacement. It hasn't been used enough to taint flavour of water ( I live in a very hard water area) though I have added a little limescale remover wire ball from the get go just to help. So far, I'm pleased with the aesthetics, speed of boil and low volume whilst on. It's gained all the major ticks so far.

Great kettle
Great kettle, quiet, quick to boil, easy to clean - what's not to like.
