A LEGENDARY piece of gaming history!!!
Just the fact this even exists is so so beyond cool!! Some may have different opinions on the games included.I feel in order to get the most out of these awesome old games is to have a variety of different specialty controllers. If all you have is just a basic console controller I could see it lessening the experience. But either way I think this is an awsome buy regardless if u have the special controllers for some of the specific games or not an personally I'd get this AND the anniversary version. You can't go wrong 5 stars from me🤙👍👍👍

Wonderful trip down memory lane
This review is for the Nintendo Switch version. This collection has 150 Atari games...well considering many of them are duplicates (for example there are three versions of Missile Command...arcade, 2600, and 5200) I'm not sure what the real number is. But if you just want to sit back and enjoy some old school gaming, this is a great collection. I do wish there were some Activision games. Some of the Atari Flashback consoles have Activision games on them, so I assume the current owners of Atari and the current owners of Activision have a good relationship. Would love to have seen Barnstorming, Pitfall, Seaquest, Fishing Derby, and a few others on here. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars: The joystick makes your character move WAY too fast. For games like Pong, I have to hold the joystick to the right, and then push it up and down to give it a little extra "tension". Otherwise if you use the joystick like normal it goes way too fast. Luckily many of the games that originally had a trackball option, you can play by using the Switch's touch-screen with your fingers and this is a better option. For games that don't support trackball / touchscreen, I prefer using the directional arrows over the joystick.Overall, this a great nostalgia collection for on-the-go.

Nothing better than the classics!
This is a great deal. 150 Classic games for this price? Some of them are right out of the arcade and most are from the Atari 2600 or 5200. It’s a great ride! Of course being unencumbered and able to carry the switch wherever I go obviously makes it so much more accessible and convenient.

Great reproductions, but awful controls
I was excited to see Atari retro games available for the Nintendo Switch. The emulator does a very nice job of reproducing the original video displays.Unfortunately, many of the controls are just plain awful. For example, the pong paddle rests at center, but slams to top or bottom when you touch the joystick controller. I realize the original Pong used rotary control, but the resting position plus the two top and bottom positions means the paddle only has 3 positions. It is not possible to play the game because you can't intercept the ball in other positions.Other games, like brick breaker and centipede, have similar behavior. Turning sensitivity down to 1 does not help the problem.I would have easily given the game pack 5 stars just for nostalgia, but the controls are so awful it had to be de-rated.

Best vintage video games
Didn’t see complete list of games but when going through I found about 6 that were my favorite ones during my arcade days. Great value

A Christmas suprise
Love playingy Atari games. We still have our original console and games that were given as Christmas too in 79. Sadly even with a PC version of collections are incompatible with current windows. Lots of these previous issued titles for the PC needed the required emulatorMy family gave me this in addition to the Nintendo switch.Last handheld I owned was the Atari Gameboy. Let the games begin
