Charcoal Canister
Perfect fit. Easy to install but a little difficult to remove if the one in there is the original. Love OEM parts.

Fits like OE.
Taking off the old one was a trick but installing the new one was a 10 minute job, 7 of which were spent gathering the wrench and crawling under the vehicle. Thre check engine light is now resolved and the vehicle runs great.

2004 Chevy Tahoe check engine light FIXED!!!!! GREAT PRICE TOO!!!
So far, so good!!! My check engine light kept triggering with a code P0446. I could not figure out what was the problem and my mechanic suggested that I change the charcoal canister because that's a common problem on Tahoe's especially in my case, because my 2004 Chevy Tahoe is approaching 300,000 miles!!! OMG, I think the problem is solved, my check engine light hasn't came back on yet!!! LOOKING GOOD!!! FINGERS CROSSED!!!

This is the OEM Vapor Canister and fit perfectly
On my 2004 Yukon XL Flex Fuel, this part corrected a persistent P0446, Canister Vent Performance fault. The vent valve and tubing were all good, the canister had become plugged over the 200,000 miles the Yukon had traveled. This part was the direct OEM replacement. No issues installing the part.

Replacing Vapor Canister
Bought for a 2002 Chevy Suburban 1500 Z71 4x4 with Flex fuel (L59 Engine-VIN Z) Removing the old canister was hard, brackets rusted, connecters old. The new one was east to install.

Perfect fit and half the price!
This was an exact fit for my 2003 Tahoe. The 2003 calls for two different canisters. This one fits the Tahoes that were made closer to 2004. It is a/c delco factory original equipment for less than half of the price of a parts house.

Why I don't like this product
The canister evidently serves it purpose (EPA requirement). What I do not like about it is that it is made to break. The nipples, especially the small one have no structural support built into the product. When squeezing the connector the hose is supposed to slip off the nipple. The cheap release on the connector would not release the hose. I attempted to rotate the hose a little bit while pulling straight back in order to break the bond between the two pieces and the nipple broke off with very little force applied. This is not a reflection on the quality of the replacement part, after all it is an exact reproduction of the GM part. The fault lies with GM's manufacturing engineering, quality control, GM management, and accountant's. They all signed off on the product specifications and should have recognized that the nipple was going to cost the user lots of money to replace. Their is no way to repair the part and if there was, the EPA has declared it illegal to do so.
