I initially had an issue with opening the chapstick, it turned out to be operator error that I solved on my own but the owner (it’s a small business) returned my call to troubleshoot with me. Prior to her calling and me seeing the GREAT customer service I used the chapstick. It’s nothing short of amazing. It doesn’t leave a greasy residue and actually abosrbs really quickly, leaving my lips feeling hydrated and soft. I ended up slathering it on my 2 year old too being as he’s been dealing with chapped lips (baby organics chapstick wasn’t doing anything for him... or I). The chapstick is so amazing I ended up going to the direct website to see what other products they might have for extremely dry skin. I ended up ordering a dry skin kit, which leads me back to the phone call from Carol (unsure of the spelling). She says that the emu oil ($25 on amazon) that comes in the kit is an amazing face moisturizer and the banish my callus ($21 on amazon) only takes a small amount because it spreads really easily due to the concentrated emu oil. I truly cannot wait for my kit to arrive and if you’re tired of trying to find “your chapstick” give EmuJoy a shot. Seriously.

I came across of this product from customer's reviews. I was searching for a lip balm that is gentle and will help my flareup of eczema on my lips. I had a bad flare up ,causing my lips to swell up,cracked, dried skin and with burning sensation. After using Banish Chapped lips Emu Joy it gives me comfort and my lips started to heal & feel better after 48 hours. Since them I have been using this product for 2 years now. It has no scent ,no flavor, and it's moisturizing. The only thing I would suggest is to order from the manufacturer website itself, instead of Amazon , only because of the price. Amazon charged me $22.99 +tax=$25.35. When I order on EmuJoy website ( emujoy.com) it will only cost me $18.00/ stick (same size). I also get a free shipping and 10% discount. I have allergies and my lips and skin gets so dry from taking so many different kinds of allergy medications. I've tried different products for my face. Finally I found an emu oil that works wonders for my face. My skin cleared up from hormonal acne and flakiness. I decided to put some on my lips, but there were several problems to using the actual oil. It tasted horrible and way too oily on my lips. So I look up different options and found this product. I've been using it for over 6 months now and I now my lips are loving it. Even though the price is on the higher end than other products, it's comes in a large container - double the size of a regular size chapstick. It glides on smoothly and evenly, light weight, not greasy like the actual oil. A little goes a long way. Once applied, my lips feel like they are fully hydrated. I use it every night. Once I went on week vacation and forgot to take it with me. My lips started to peel and felt like it was so dried up again, even though I used a different store bought shelf brand. When I returned home I applied it again and within 2 days my lips were back to normal. After 6 months of using it practically every night, I still have plenty left to use, I'm only half way done. I think the best part is that I recognize all the ingredients used to make this product, so I know it's safe for me to use. My husband even noticed that my lips are much softer ever since I've used this product. For that reason alone, I will buy it again when this one runs out. I did only rate it 4 stars because the smell (honestly isn't horrible, but maybe a beautiful essential oil smell would be nice) could be improved.

This lip balm is exceptionally good! I had extremely dry, split chapped lips that were burning. I used this for 2 days and the chapped flaky lips and burning were gone!

For the past 3 months, I've been struggling with dry peeling lips. My lips have consistently been in some stage of peeling, or raw and uncomfortable. After researching around the internet for what could help, reading reviews and comparing products, I thought this lip balm would be the thing to finally help me. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting some overnight miracle, but it managed to make a bad problem worse. It turns out I don't just have chapped lips, I have developed and am suffering from something called exfoliative cheilitis. (If your lip has been stuck in a cycle of peeling for an extended period of time and you can't figure out why, I recommend looking into this.) So I don't blame the product for not working, because I'm dealing with something that can't be treated normally. But I can say that once I switched to this, the peeling worsened and I started experiencing new problems. I can't pinpoint exactly which ingredient(s) were irritating, but it's important to remember that just because a product is natural doesn't mean it can't cause harm, even butters and oils can aggravate your lip especially when it's in a compromised state. But even despite the condition I'm dealing with and the experience I had, I was searching for something soft that could glide on easily and not tug at the delicate skin on my lips, and this product was the most gentle to apply of all stick balms I tried. That was really the best thing about it though, and I was only able to use it for a few days. I have since switched to 100% Lanolin, not the kind marketed here as lip balm just plain ol nipple cream from the baby aisle in Walmart, and for the first time since this whole ordeal with my lip began, I'm experiencing relief. I haven't peeled in a week, and that's the longest I've made it so far. It's the best thing I've tried, since it's waterproof and creates a barrier like Vaseline but isn't so gross or detrimental. Some people can be sensitive to it though, so I be mindful if you do decide to try it. Also, the Naturals New Zealand Emu Oil Lip Balm is good as well. I maybe prefer it over this one. It lasts longer on the lips when applied, it has less ingredients (which is good when your lips are in a sensitive state) (and emu oil is the first ingredient rather than the third or fourth), it has shea butter vs the cocoa butter in this one (the cocoa butter clogged the little pores around my lips quickly), and it's soft to glide on as well. The only thing better about this one is it's a larger tube, but it also costs more so I don't think it really counts as a perk.

I absolutely love this product, it's my second time buying it and I don't regret trying it out. It's the only thing that I feel truly keeps my lips moisturized. It lasts forever, It almost last me a year and usually I would have finished 3 regular lip balms by that time! I really recommend this product to anyone that wants to use real ingredients and get soft lips

I was in dire need of a moisturizing lip balm during these cold winter months and purchased both this and Burt's Bees Ultra Conditioning lip balm. To be honest, this Emu Oil lip balm goes on smoother, and actually lasts through things like drinking water/coffee where the Burt's Bees requires consistent reapplication. This is the best moisturizing lip balm I have been able to find to date! My only complaint is when you put it on it first smells a bit funny/unusual but I'm assuming that's just the Emu Oil.

Goes on nicely, but feels a little bit gritty. Love that it's all natural though. Bigger size is great. Makes my lips feel dryish after a while. Will keep using though as it protects when outside in cold and wind.

This is the first emu oil product I've purchased and it does what the description says. My lips are dry and chapped every winter and this balm gave me relief. It worked immediately and I've been using it on the occasional dry patch on my hands too. This product doesn't have the best smell but it also doesn't have added fragrance either, which I prefer.

Best lip balm i have used, I am into lip balm is that smell nice but this one is unscented and I actually prefer this and I like it better than the scented ones. It doesn't overwhelm or overpower my senses and moisturize my lips deeply and feels natural I love the ingredients.
