I was really happy with this fob cover. It looks really sharp and protects the fob from getting beat up in my pockets. It fit snugly and I didn't notice any smell from the silicone as others had commented. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat. My only complaint is that the silicone gets hung up on the fabric of whatever pocket it's in. It's not a dealbreaker in my opinion.

These fit my Mk7 keys perfectly. Feels great to know my keys are protected from scratches, scuffs, or other potential damage in case it falls. The silicone material feels sturdy and rigid enough that I don't envision the cover becoming loose or slipping off. The honeycomb/hexagon design on the cover matches the look of the grill on the Golf which I think is a nice detail. :)

Looks nice. The bottom half of the fob fits really snug. The top however, (near the button to flip the key) is very loose and does not seem to fit. ( too small, I almost want to pull it forward but I'm too scared to stretch it.

Fitment 7/10. Feel 9/10. My favorite part is that my key no longer unfolds by itself in my pocket. Button is recessed inside the cover now.

I truly wish I didn't have the empirical evidence that supports my headline, but alas...This morning, I chose to warm up my car before leaving for work as it had some snow on it which had fallen the night before. When I arrived at my office - only a couple highway exits from my home - I reached for my keys which are always on my seat (keyless ignition) but they were not there. It was only then that I realized what happened - I left my keys on the roof while it was warming up (because I was afraid the doors might lock and lock the keys inside) and there they remained as I started my drive to work. I realized the "thud" I heard on the highway was not ice falling off as I had thought, but must have, in fact, been the keys. Sooooo, I went back home for my spare key, retraced my path from the driveway and lo and behold, found the keys on the highway - at least 5 miles from my house - which had been run over so many times that the keys were either mangled or snapped off, the rings completely squashed to half moons and the actual car key fob gone. All that remained was this rubber grip looking absolutely no worse for the wear, still hugging tightly to the hook portion of the fob, which was the only bit not destroyed. The yin and the yang here is that if this grip were not so powerful, these keys surely would have slipped off by simply pulling out of the driveway and I could be saving the $330 the replacement key is going to cost me, but I have to say this is a well-made product

MK7 GTI , Initial fitment is tight but it stretches on after pulling it tightly , It didn't rip , Now less slippery and easier to hold , I like it , I ordered the 2 pack (4 button key fob)

3 stars, and by that I mean it's a good buy, especially as there are very few alternatives. The key gap is the biggest problem, slight tear after a few months, and looser than you'd like due to design limitations. I don't see anyone doing better with the same materials.Getting the red cover has been an absolute must for me - with so many similar FOBs out there, it makes it very easy to point it out to staff when claiming your vehicle.As well, it just makes it much much easier to find your keys in the rushed morning when you put them down and the black FOB could be hidden by something as simple as a shadow.So 3 stars. I don't expect it to last a year - the fit is imperfect, but it is much better than any product I've tried. I will happily re-buy it when it does fail.

Buy with confidence! Does exactly as described. We have silicone key covers for all our car keys. My wife just leased a new 2019 VW Tiguan SE 4Motion. The plastic keys gets destroyed without the silicone key covers. The key is also very slippery with the cover the key won’t slip out of your hands. The cover fits very well and the side switch blade key comes out as it should. We bought 2 one black and one blue.

Product arrived on time and fit perfectly. Will def buy a few more.

I bought these. They took a while to get here. Then when they arrived..... I noticed they are USED. They had crumbs on the inside and they were so dirty !!!!!
