BRIKSMAX Ship in a Bottle Led Lighting Kit- Compatible with Lego 21313 92177 Building Blocks Model- Not Include The Lego Set

The base Lego set looks pretty cool finished, this LED kit brings it to another level. Only comment - wish the wires were just a tad longer to fully hide the "junction box" under the stand, but with a little hot glue and creative thinking you can neatly tuck the wires and such away. The instructions are very clear and simple, just be advised that you do need to modify the base kit with the supplied Lego bricks - so the end model is a little (like 6 bricks or so) different then the original. Well worth the price and time to install.

Everything was individually packaged and labeled. instructions were pictures easy to follow. I've seen reviews for other similar products that said the wires broke easily, these seem sturdy and did not have any problems with them breaking. I took a chance on this set since at the time it did not have any reviews and i couldn't be happier with my purchase. You also have the choice of using the battery pack set which is included or it has an adapter to plug straight into a USB device which is the route I went. Super bright lights. This was a great addition to this set, highly recommend! I already had the bottle together so i had to take it apart to put the lights on the ship, so it would be easier to add the lights as you assembled the Lego set.

Mine turned out great but I can't understand how as long as this light kit has been out they missed something as simple as this but they instruct you to daisy chain 3 lights together then plug an extender cable to the ends of the two outer lights, then plug both cables to power. Huh? You only need to plug one of the cables in to power the chain. Essentially you have an extra cable.

Awesome light kit! I took one look at the instructions and thought “OMG, what have I gotten myself into!” Then I re-read the instructions and figured out the instructions are for a set that has already been completed. As I had not put my set together yet it was even simpler to add the lights. I am a novice, this was my first time ever adding a light kit to a Lego set for me and it was easy. If you can follow directions you can do this!

Step by step pictures in the instructions were pretty easy to follow. It’s a little tricky placing the lights under the small pieces but after the first two tries I got it down properly. It is definitely the cherry on top of this Lego set. I highly recommend this product.

The kit is supposed to come with 5 clear Lego pieces, so the light can shine through the pieces. My kit was missing the Lego pieces, which makes the kit useless. You cannot use the kit with the Lego pieces that come with the original set because the light needs to shine through transparent pieces. Since the company is located in China, it's unlikely I will ever get the pieces. I'm returning this kit.

Got it for a gift for my husband, he says it’s a little tedious but worth it in the end, it looks amazing. 10/10.

Used this to light up a model Millennium Falcon and it worked great, might buy more to light up other models.
