Moto Z3/Z3 Play Case, Aluminum Alloy Bumper Frame, Compatible with Moto Mods, Shockproof Protection, Red

I highly recommend this case if you use moto mods. The only downside is finding a charger that fits. Once you do, cherish it. Most usb-c cables aren't deep enough, but you can find ones that work.

I like the bumper cover. The buttons work properly, it reads my finger print relatively easily, I can charge without removing the case, the MOTO MODs I have fit well without needing to remove the cover, so from those considerations it is great. The width of the case is not sufficient o protect the camera on the back. that is a disappointment. If I have the phone in my back pocket, the rubber corner bumpers like to com off when I sit in a car or office chair. Luckily I have not yet lost any of them, but I have had to search a couple of times.It is much more durable than a plastic or flexible vinyl case. I have had three of those fail on me. I have settled on this case, and I would buy it again if I lost this one. I may have to find out, though, if I can get replacement corner bumpers. That would be a nice add on.

So far I have found this bumper to function exactly as it says it should. The cutouts are accurate and provide access to important bits like the charging port and fingerprint sensor. I can also easily use the battery mod for my Moto Z3 without having to remove the bumper. I don't seem to have the issues others do with signal strength being different with the bumper on. I have tested my signal strength with the bumper on and the bumper off in various locations and it's exactly the same.My only dislike is that it doesn't come in more colors. I don't like red and my only other choices (black and silver) are boring.Update: After I dropped my phone once or twice the latch did indeed start to come unlatched very easily. HOWEVER! I found that by simply putting a tiny piece of folded paper between the the one edge and the bumper it provides enough tension on the latch to keep the hook from wiggling and therefore it stays close. Voila. No problem!

This is a solid, substantial surround which still allows access to the Moto snap-on accessories. I have dropped my phone several times and it did prevent damage, however I didn't notice that one of the rubber corner protectors popped out so I lost it. That happened again, but this time I found it and was able to replace it. It would be nice if a couple of spares were included just in case. I may buy another and super-glue the bumpers in place before installing the case. I saw reviews where people complained about having it block wifi or bluetooth signals, but I have had no such issues. Another complained the buttons were in the wrong place - first time I installed it the same thing happened because I had it upside down - LOL! Overall it's a very good protector.

Allows the use of Moto-Mods. Control buttons work so smoothly that you don't even know the frame case is there.

The fit is good, and the case is durable, but it has some issues. The first that I ran into was a bevel around the charging port that made it so that about half the USB-C cables I had didn't fit. If you're going to use the case, make sure that the cables you use have molding around them that isn't too wide.The second is that this case doesn't do a great job protecting the screen. The rim of the case is very low profile, and so it doesn't seem to offer a lot of screen protection in the case of a drop. I will say that I have not had a screen breakage since using it, but it is something I am concerned about.On the plus side, the fit is very good. It fits snugly to the phone without worrying about it being too tight, and Moto Mods fit just fine with it on. It seems to be made of quality materials, and I haven't had any issues with the case itself outside of the USB-C issue.

This product has already paid for its self! I sit my phone in my wife's car door, just days after having the screen replaced. When I shut the door, the case exploded! My phone was completely fine, the case was not. So I purchased another one! The only complaint is that the case slightly restricts the finger print reader. But obviously not enough to keep me from buying another for my Motorola Z3 Play.

The case fits and work surprisingly well. It is well designed and I think there are 4 holes cut out around the edges for the antenna's on the phone. The signal strength does not seem to be affected. The case is sturdy and well designed, giving the phone a premium feel. I bought the other plastic/rubber case that can be used with mods and it was a terrible fit. I should have bought this one first.The only issue with this aluminum case is that the majority of my USB C cables have trouble plugging into the phone. The cut out for the charging port is smaller than most ends on cables. This is why I am giving this a 4 instead of a 5.

This was the only option for a bumper Case for my phone. It took forever to get here and the first time my phone dropped out of my hoodie pocket the case broke and my phone shattered. I had previously bought a cheaper plastic one that lasted for about a year and worked great but was no longer available. I would not recommend this case. It's made from aluminum except the clip that holds it all together is plastic.

Fits nicely. Mods are fully usable with bumper case. Looks nice.Latch broke the 1st time I dropped it.Padding corners transfer impact directly to the phone instead of to the case.

Covers and protects everything and able to swap between mods easily

The product was nice, good edge protection and easy mod connection, but the lock clip broke so fast. The bumper only lasted 1-2 weeks with me and it broke
