Strawberry Champagne Gourmet Cocktail Lollipop (12 Count)

Not only are these lollis a work of art, they're simply delicious. I first found them in a Barnes and Nobles while traveling and couldn't ever find them again; I was so happy to see them on Amazon! The champagne flavoring is delicious and the dried strawberries are fantastic. The wooden handle is a nice touch!You should note, when buying these, that exposure to extreme temperatures and humidities can make them go bad. Some of the strawberries are exposed in the sucker, so if you wait a year to eat them, you might be tossing them out due to discoloration or something along those lines. However, they're so freaking delicious and pretty, you almost certainly won't be able to keep your hands off them long enough for them to go bad!Excellent for people with a huge sweet tooth and for people who don't like things TOO sweet alike.

They look very pretty but taste like they're just plain sugar. Not what I was looking for at all and such a high price, really just for the look.

I saw these on the series "Food Factory" and just had to see what they were about. These are definitely NOT the lollipops that you remember as a kid! The taste is geared toward a more "sophisticated", adult palette. They are no overly sweet and the flavor does not "hit you in the face" as most candy store lollipops will/would. The flavor is very close to champagne, the strawberries add a hint, smell and light taste of fruit and I found them very pleasurable to sit back and enjoy. They come double-wrapped with a nice description card that makes them nice to give as a gift.So why three stars? First, the 12 I received were placed loosely in a plastic bag, put inside a UPS plastic bag and by the time I got them delivered, all but 2 of them were broken into pieces - not a single form of packaging to keep the "folks" at UPS from destroying them. So if you're hoping to give these as presents, you'll have to apologize for the condition that your giving them in. Secondly, more than half of them only had one "piece" of a strawberry (unlike the picture or as I saw them on tv) so that was another disappointment. Maybe because strawberries are not in season. Lastly, because of the strawberries I would assume, they also have a "best buy" date so plan to give some away or do some serious lollipop eating!I enjoyed them and found them interesting.

Love these gourmet lollipops! They taste so good! Packaging was excellent and each lollipop was completely protected from breakage. Highly recommend seller and product!!

A bit too sweet, but really good flavor. I would order them again.

They were really cute but they only tasted like sugar and a slight strawberry if you hit one of the dried strawberries. Was disappointed. They were not worth the expensive price.
