UPDATE 2/2/2022 OK so months ago I wrote a nice review for this product and much of what I said still holds true I updated in Dec as noted below. I finally conceded and purchased a replacement pump and it worked great for 12 whole days so now you get 1 star instead of 5. I cannot in good conscience promote or rate highly a product that simply does not have the longevity it should have! I can purchase a cheap plastic one from the grocery store that will last years but my objective was to get away from plastic unfortunately this is not the product or supplier to achieve this. I strongly recommend finding an alternate product / supplier.Original review:While this is not a large soap dispenser I like it a lot and the size suits my needs. It also appears to be of good quality, no plastic, which is rare these days! This even came package very well, like this business really cares about their product and what they deliver to their customers. Presentation does matter and this company gets it. I liked it so much I ordered a second one. I will update when I have had it for a while to comment on the long term quality.Update 12/1/21 I bought two of these dispensers 1 has zero issues and 1 has a terrible sticking problem. I cleaned it and it still sticks. Not sure how to contact the seller to resolve. I still really like the product and think it is very good but they may have quality issues with their pumps after all as there are comments by others regarding this problem :(

I absolutely love this soap dispenser! It is amazing! It is heavy enough that I don't knock it off the sink. The stainless steel pump is not flimsy and very sturdy. (Unlike other dispensers I've ordered/looked at.) The foaming action is great. (Other soap dispensers that we've owned do not foam as well and the soap comes out of the dispenser in a bubbly mess that is not, in my opinion, foam.) Our homemade soap is pumped out of the dispenser in a thick enough foam that it doesn't drip thru your fingers before you get back to the faucet to wash your hands. Small size is great for bathroom sinks because it doesn't take up a lot of real estate. This soap dispenser is more expensive. Yes! But, it is definitely better quality. It is nice to pay more for something that is ACTUALLY better quality! I will gladly pay more for items that I don't have to re-purchase when they break in a year or two! (Yes! I think products should last more than a year or two. Call me old school?!?)

I love these foaming soap dispensers. This is the 4th one I've purchased from Rail 19 and it is a gift for my granddaughter . The first 3 I purchased are 4 years old and still work perfectly. I love that they are glass and so sturdy. They are also easy to clean. I have one next to every sink.I use Dr Bonner's natural soap in these dispensers with a 1 to 5 ratio soap to water and it foams up great! Both this dispenser and Dr Bonner's seem to be pricey at first glance- but the dispensers last forever and the soap, because you use such a small amount lasts a very long time too. In the long run this is a very frugal option and I love that it is glass not plastic.

Initial review: I like it for its size and that it matched the colors in my bathrooms.I like to add more to my review since we used this pump for at least a year now. It started to to act very differently recently. I have used vinegar to clean the pump, but it is still very tough to push the top down and it doesn't foam any more. I think I will have to change my overall rating to 1, because how quickly it fell apart.

I had been looking for a small foaming soap dispenser that didn't look cheap and finally found this one. It is fairly pricey but far better looking than other cheaper bottles available on the market. I have only used this for a week, and so far it is working great. My only concern is that the tube is a little too short and doesn't reach all the way to the bottom. I will update my review after a couple months of use.Update: It's been almost 2 months since I got this soap dispenser, and I still love it! It looks like new and the pump works great even after 2 months of heavy use in my kitchen. I am actually ordering another one for my bathroom. I only wish the tube was long enough to touch the bottom so no soap would be wasted, hence four stars not five. My homemade soap recipe is this: a half cup of water, a table spoon of Dr. Bronner's castile soap (my choice is peppermint), and a tea spoon of vegetable glycerine. Optionally, add 3 drops of essential oil (I use tea tree).

Pretty good. Better quality than most. Only problem: because the top "button" (and the surface under it) are totally flat, if you touch it with a wet hand, water just sits there and evaporates to leave mineral deposits, so it looks "dirty" all the time. If the top was just slightly domed, I think it would work better.

I just got the pump so I can't speak to its durability but it seem to be a nice, good-quality pump and just the right size I was looking for for a small bathroom. The price was a bit high, but I'm hoping that it will be worth it in the long run if it lasts. I have 2 Cuispro pumps for the larger bathrooms and I like them well enough, but this one being glass and having the metal pump seems more classy. I put in the Method regular hand wash gel that I use for my other pumps in the 1:5 ratio with water as instructed and it seems to work as expected. So far I am very happy with my purchase.

Pump stuck from the first use - very disappointing. I used the proper mixture of handsoap-water. I tried flushing with water/white vinegar, and also tried letting the pump dry completely over days. I also purchased two of the "Large" version of this dispenser, but they have worked fine, so I'm not sure why the "Small" version was different. I did not contact the Seller regarding this issue, as I just didn't want to deal with a hassle if they were to request that I ship the item back, etc. I have since thrown the pump away, though I kept the glass part in case I find a working pump that will fit.

I'm amazed by how well this soap pump foams! Looking at it, I was nervous that I would get a stream of foam, instead of a nice little cloud of it, but it produces the same results as pumps with wider pump openings.I was also a bit nervous that I would find the size too small, but it looks fantastic in our bathroom, and I haven't found myself re-filling it any more than seems normal/reasonable.Seems like it will hold up for a long time. Couldn't be happier!

Nice looking and works well. Sure does save on soap.
