NEEWER Vertical Battery Grip Replacement for VG-C3EM, ONLY Compatible with Sony A9 A7III A7RIII Camera and NP-FZ100(Battery Not Included)

Perfect accessory to my a9. Of course it’s much cheaper and has cosmetic imperfections, however it’s hardly noticeable when compared to the benefit of working with an extra battery on deck. It does feel light and made of plastic, but when it’s locked onto the camera, it feels alright, lightweight but sturdy enough. I have two of these now and it’s the best bang for your buck. Works as it should. Shutter button definitely feels different from the camera button. But it’s clicky and works well. The buttons and dial work as they should as well. The grip is more rubbery than the camera’s leather like grip, however i like this better since it feels like it grips better in the hands, not slippery. To be real nit-picky, you can tell slightly that it’s a different material, finish and weight, however you’ll be the only one to know or even care LOL. The benefits far out-way the cons, imho. It’s also nice that there’s no giant visible logo like other third party brands.

Good cheap and solid alternative option

So I was pleasantly surprised with this battery grip, first off it was well packaged and arrived quickly. Secondly, when I took it out of the packaging you notice right away that the grip texture that is used feels really good in the hand- it doesn't have that cheap shiny plastic feel to it, this actually looks and feels WAY better. I tested out the buttons and they all work great, BUT I noticed another reviewer said this as well- the buttons do feel plasticy and clicky... if this battery grip has a fault, that is where it is. For the price, I am able to overlook that though, it operates as expected and looks great. I wont be using anything else besides the shutter button on the battery grip anyways. I do recommend this as a budget option for battery grips. ***update I started getting the incorrect battery message.... so if you have the sony batteries, you will be fine. If you have off brand, be prepared for this... you just need to pull the battery pack out and put it back in and it goes away until the next time you use the camera.

Can't beat it for the price. feels great in normal orientation. But the grip doesn't feel as good vertically. The buttons are loud and clicky, plastic feels thin and cheap. but once its all together and on the camera it works great. Its even smart enough to know if you put a charged battery and a half charged battery in it. It will show you the individual battery charge indicators on the screen. One will show full and one will show partial charge. And it will also charge the batteries in the grip from the USB-C port. Worth the money.

Build quality - 3.5/5 Performance - 5/5 Value - 4.5/5 Overall happy with product. I own several Neewer products and I've been very happy with the value they provide. I also own another Neewer battery grip for my Sony A7ii. Which I will say the build quality on the A7ii feels better imo compared to this one. The plastic feels cheaper on this model compared to my other. The battery door lock also seems cheaper and it doesn't slide as smoothly as the A7ii version. I'm going to keep it because this is still a great value for your money. One thing I will say is, if you are looking to get this for your A9. I would the sony brand. You have an A9 - just get the Sony one lol. For others looking for a budget grip, this is a great purchase.

Great product , easy to set up and use

Initial copy of this grip came in and the cut out to hold the camera's batter door was not cut properly, so it did not hold the battery door properly. I did use the grip for about a half an hour just to test out the functionality. It's solidly built and the buttons all seem to work well. The shutter button is painfully long. I requested the return of my 1st copy in hopes that another copy would be better. Just received today and it's the same issue!!! Will not hold the camera's battery door in place. In both copies, the top spring loaded pin will not "latch in" to the notch provided. I'm not sure how the date code stamped on these grips (pretty piss poor placement IMO) reads out. One shows 2019/5/11 and the other is 2019/3/11. Either way, returning them both and going with a different grip. Sad, because I have other Neewer products that function just fine.

Vraiment très agréablement surpris par la qualité des matériaux utilisés. Je ne fais pas la différence avec la qualité de fabrication de mon A7iii. Toutes les commandes fonctionnent à merveille ! C'est un réel plus pour mon boîtier.

This was sold as used but it arrived in original box well wrapped with all the instructions and in perfect looking condition. It fits the camera well and all the custom buttons seem to function as they should do. The only downside is that it only works with genuine Sony batteries but that’s not a problem for me and it clearly tells you that in the description. This was half the price of a new one meaning I could buy nearly 10 of these compared to a Sony one!!! Even at full price I would still highly recommend it. I’ve never held a Sony one so I can’t compare it to quality and weight. I’ve bought genuine before and usually there’s not much in it to be honest certainly not for the amount of money you pay. I only put 3 stars for battery life because I really don’t see the point in it and I haven’t used the grip for any length of time yet. Overall I definitely recommend this product and I just can’t understand why Sony, Nikon, Cannon and the rest need to charge so much for this type of product other than pure greed.

Il bisogno è nato quando ho acquistato un Sony 70-200 f/4 OSS. Ho sentito improvvisamente piccola (ed io non ho le mani grandi) la mia Sony Alpha 7 III, nel senso che mi mancava l'appoggio nel mignolo e sentivo soprattutto il bisogno di qualcosa che rendesse più facile e naturale lo scatto in verticale. Ho acquistato il Neewer per il costo irrisorio e le recensioni positive e ho fatto bene a farlo perché ne sono molto soddisfatto. Il battery grip è pienamente compatibile con il battery grip originale, dal punto di vista ergonomico, nella logica di utilizzo e di ricarica delle 2 batterie, nella presenza di un vano in cui conservare lo sportellino delle batterie, nel numero e nella funzionalità dei pulsanti, nel feedback di questi ultimi e del joystick (che rappresentano una approssimazione molto buona di quello dato dai pulsanti e dal joystick del corpo macchina anche se non sono la stessa cosa). Insomma... si può usare bene e senza problemi. Inoltre ha un ottimo grip, è leggero e costa pochissimo. L'unico aspetto che all'inizio mi ha fatto preoccupare un po' è stata la levetta con cui aprire il vano batteria. In effetti è sottile e siccome va sollevata e ruotata, il timore inevitabile è che si possa spezzare. Tuttavia, si tratta solo di prenderci un po' la mano. Infatti dopo avere aperto e chiuso il vano una mezza dozzina di volte, già non ci penso più.

縦位置グリップ欲しかったのですが、重くなるのが気になって購入を躊躇していたところ、純正ではなく、こちらのプラスチック製なら、大幅に軽いことに気づき購入しました。 結果として、縦撮りはしやすくなり、重さもあまり増えず、作りもしっかりしており大満足です。 確かに、ボタンやダイヤルの感触は少し違いますが、特に問題となるレベルではありません。 ちなみに他社製のレビューだと本体にくっつける時、力がいるとの記載が目立ちましたが、こちらの商品はスッと入りました。 一つだけ欠点としては、グリップを使用中、電池のフタを止めて置く、部分の穴が大きく、かかりが悪いです。 ただし、それも3点で止める内の1つだけなので、使用には問題なかったです。 純正の1/5の額で、僕の欲しかった機能は全てあって、最高のグリップでした。
