All Parts BP-5707-005 Stainless Vibramate Spoiler String Retainer

This attachment makes stringing a guitar with a bigsby tremolo much easier. THe price is too much though. It probably costs less than a buck to make but it costs over 40 bucks to buy. Having said that it really makes it easier to string the guitar and tha'ts why I got it.

This is a great idea. The problem I have is the picture shows stainless, gold, and black. The description says "Stainless" but I wasn't sure what I was going to get until it arrived. Luckily it was the stainless/silver one. This thing is great - in fact Bixby's should come standard with this. Almost $40 for a little piece of metal is a lot which is why I only gave it 4 stars. However changing strings on a Bixby without one is a real pain.

Easy to install with no permanent modifications, completely reversible. No change in tone or sustain. Very easy string changes.

A bit pricey for a piece of notched metal (I would have given it 5 stars if it was a little cheaper!). I have a Bigsby on a Telecaster and one on a Gibson archtop and I have installed a String Spoiler on both. Changing strings is a no-brainer. No broken strings or tuning problems so far.

If you use a Bigsby and haven't tried the string spoiler....Bless your heart!

Fit perfectly in my Epiphone with its Bigsby.

Work as advertised,,, makes re-stringing a breeze. One star off for being so expensive...

Perhaps a little pricey for a bit of slotted metal, but you're really paying for convenience while restringing. To me, that's worth the money.
