Lander - Moab Case for iPhone 6/6s/7/8 (NOT Plus)

I was really just going to buy a case for my phone that was a little tougher while I found one that's cute, but I've really gotten attached. I've never been an Otterbox user and I've almost never broken a phone, but when I cracked the camera glass on my iPhone, I decided to get something thicker.What's kept me using it, even though it's not that cute, is this lanyard. I never in a million years would have gotten a case with a lanyard but now I can't live without it. I've used a carabiner to clip it to a life jacket while kayaking, looped it around a backpack strap while hiking, and worn it around my wrist while walking the dog. It's a dramatic upgrade from holding it under my arm when I'm trying to do things and don't have pockets. The case itself is also tough and it's not terribly heavy, so functionally it meets what I'd like. It's also not super hard plastic, so it seems like it can absorb more shock than a hard case.In short, this is so awesome that I don't mind that it's not cute.

I bought this product due to the promises of thermoline protection in cold weather. The case did not live up to the promise while skiing in 25 degree F. Battery dropped as it would have without a case. There was no thermal protection. Paid $40 for a case that should have cost $10.

This is a great phone case for someone like me who is both clumsy and outdoorsy. So far so good! I've dropped my phone several times with no issues. I also live in an unforgiving climate so I'm interested to see how the Thermoline technology regulates the phone's temperature in the summer. It looks sleek too (unlike the Otterbox). I highly recommend!!!
