These straps appear to be extremely well-made and durable, and I like the easy on/off clasp. The artwork is even more gorgeous in person. I bought these primarily so that I could find a way to attach a backpack to the handle of a new carry on and still have access to it. I was able to wrap it around the long handle twice so that it doesn't drag to much. (An X type brace would be a more stable solution, but easy access to the backpack was a priority.) I ordered it so quickly that I was actually surprised that this was a set that included the longer suitcase-sized strap as well, which I'll use on my larger suitcase for for easy ID at airport carousels. These are not, despite one reviewer's comments, difficult to use: once you determine the length you need through trial and error, you don't need to re-adjust it again. Beautiful, handy product.

First off, I absolutely love these straps--to the extent that I decided to order another identical set for my carry on bag. They are absolutely gorgeous in real life; the photos (including mine) don't even come close to doing them justice. They are also extremely sturdy--wrapped the larger one around an open beam and hung off it for about 10 seconds to test the strength, no problem (I weigh 103 lbs). I got them because I am flying from Spokane to England on a cheap ticket, so I have to change planes twice and my bags going to get tossed around a lot (including my carry on, which has to go in the cargo hold on the Bombardier from Spokane to Seattle). I am now totally confident that my bags will make it to England in one piece. I am also going to get a set in a different pattern for my daughter for Christmas. Honestly, my only complaint is that they don't make a version with TSA approved locks--which isn't really much of a complaint, considering that I only bought them to make sure that my totally overstuffed bags don't explode on a baggage handler or (worse) in the cargo hold. These straps are totally worth the trade-off of having to buy separate locks.

**Update after 4 years** These are still going strong! I loved these. I use them on every trip I take - over 10 countries visited and 50+ airports and counting. I even bought these for my parents and sister as well. Loved these unique luggage straps. Cute and functional. Ended up using the smaller straps to secure backpacks to luggage... worked out quite well. Would buy again. No issues with transit between 10 international airports. I would recommend these to everyone as a very needed for traveling. They give piece of mind for keeping my cases secure, and also for helping me catch sight of them in the airport.

They were very pretty and sturdy, but I lost one on a flight. They don’t stretch so you have to make sure they are super tight.

I bought this to help me to quickly identify my black luggage amidst all of the other black suitcases at the baggage claim. With the belt attached to my suitcase, I can spot it as soon as it comes out of the chute at the baggage claim. I thread it under the handle of my suitcase before fastening the buckle, to help the belt stay in place in case it gets loosened or unbuckled during transit. So far, it has been on my suitcase through 5 flights of baggage handling, including 3 baggage claim carousels. It has not come unfastened during the trips, and it shows no signs of damage or wear so far, so I believe that it will last me for some time. I will be buying more so that I can put one on each of my suitcases; I just wish that there was an option to purchase just the luggage belt without the add-a-bag strap.

OK - so I'm short and senior and it's getting too hard to take a large suitcase on trips. Too heavy; too bulky. So I downsized to a smaller suitcase and a carry-on size and usually check both. The new luggage straps made it so very easy to connect the two suitcases together and wheel away! The straps were also easy to unhook so I could lift each suitcase onto the shuttle bus. AND - they look great! Only one trip so far, so can't comment on durability yet.

Colors are beautiful and the straps seem to be very sturdy. Definitely will make it easy to spot my luggage. Can’t wait to pack!

Very attractive print makes your luggage stand out on the baggage conveyer! It's a good size and nice weight. Looks like it will withstand the "gentle care" provided by the airlines these days for a significant amount of time. Cute little mesh bag to keep it in makes sure it doesn't get away from you during storage. Airlines are so stringent about carry on requirements sometimes. This little belt brought a lot of peace of mind as it synched my bag well within the depth requirement!

Schnelle Lieferung. Wir haben einen blauen koffer, da sieht der Gurt Klasse aus. Das Design ist mal was anderes, als die einfarbigen koffergurte. Lässt sich gut anbringen und der 2. Gurt hält die Handtasche am Koffer. Praxistest steht noch an, aber da mach ich mir keine Sorgen. Gute Verarbeitung. Klare Kaufempfehlung von mir.
