I live in an apartment with wall to wall beige carpeting. I have some large rugs I have down on top of the wall-to-wall, both to protect the apartment company's carpet and to add my own color. I got these to anchor the rugs. These are far better than carpet tape, because of their weight and substance. They work great at preventing a carpet corner from rolling up. They are less great at keeping a rug in place when a chair or table gets moved across it even a little bit. Definitely vacuum the h*** out of whatever is underneath--any particle undermines the fixative.

Where hard for me to put on - I think if they were smaller it would be better. My rugs where not all that big, so I probably just needed something smaller. Appear to be good quality - just a poor choice on my part.

Pretty good product. A rug has started to peel off the pad a little, with some extra pressure it sticks now. Has not come off the floor unless I've peeled it myself. I like the wash and reuse feature. Will be buying more.

I have a lot of Persian rugs and young cats and they love turning over all the carpets. These grippers are excellent and the will keep your carpets right where you place them. Highly recommended....

Grandson cannot get the rug to move now. Great!

Bought on prime day and buying a 2nd set today. Applied 2 pieces to each corner of a 2 x 7 rug that is in our entry doorway. The rug previously would slide around a lot even with a rug pad underneath. These pads keep the rug in place and also because of the material, im not as worried about them leaving a popcorn sketch pattern on our hardwood floors that sometimes happens with rug pads.So far so good, will update if things change.

Work well. Only get 4 stars because I wish they were a little stickier. Bought for carpet runner on steps, and dogs can still move carpet when running up/down the stairs. May be sufficient for less active dogs. Still mush better than not having them or using tape.
