Perfect for our particular need
Edit: it's been a little over 2 years that we placed this overtop the run-in. And its still in perfect condition!!! No tears, no leaks, no nothing. I'm amazed at how well a tarp holds up, as long as you actually invest the money in buying a quality tarp. Since we paid the money for the this tarp, we decided to just let this tarp run its life course opposed to investing in the barn roof replacement. We maybe consider that once this tarp kicks the bucket but I honestly don't see that happening anytime soon. Definitely worth the buy if you're looking for a serious tarp. Weve been using this to cover the roof of a in-field 3 stall horse run. The roof was leaking in several places and the roof replacement would be quite costly opposed to using a tarp so we decided to give this a try until we get the funds up for a permanent roof fix. Anytime it would rain , the horses would cause the inside to get tracked up pretty good bc of the moist ground .One of the stalls had been converted into a chicken coop so we also desperately needed to keep a dry coop instead of it constantly getting moist when it rained.. And a couple of beams were starting to show the water damage to we didnt want this to progress. It was a bit of a struggle getting it all laid out with the huge size we had to order being its pretty heavy . but once we got it in place and strapped down...it has worked great. We placed bricks on top of the roof around the edges in various spots to prevent wind from being able to get underneath the tarp . and we have not had any issues. The barn has dramatically made a change. The smell, and general feel has did a complete 180. Everything is very dry now. The tarp has done the job and does not allow any more leaks to take place . the grommets have not tore. And during windy days we don't notice any flailing around anywhere in the tarp. I think tarps in general succumb to damage easier when they are used in such a setting where wind is able to get underneath them and put alot of strain on them. But for our needs...this had been a temporary lifesaver

Works for my need
Use for wood covering. Itโs heavy duty enough to cover my winter wood supply, withstand rain and snow. Keeps the pile dry all winter. Thickness is great for what I need. Price is a bit high for what it is but everything is overpriced now so gotta deal with it. Since I only use to cover a cord of wood itโs easy to use. I donโt use the grommets so I have no idea if they would hold up to say wind or some type of pressure. I just hold it down with a couple chunks of wood for high wind days.

Cover for Deck Furniturez
It was time to replace my old tarp that was degrading from sun, cold and the occasional raccoon. Didn't feel like going to the store and ordered this one. It feels heavy duty, has plenty o.f reinforced grommets and is big enough to cover my two chairs and love seat. It is a bit unweiding to work with, very stiff, but in the end it did it's job. I don't know how it will hold up to weather or how long it will last, but for now it appears to be a good enough tarp, I used zip ties to attach to my furniture legs to hold the tarp on, they aren't included.

Good quality
Works very well, but if exposed to daily sun/cloud mix will need to be replaced in about 6 months.

Heavy duty - condition was great
I had a tree fall on my garage and had to cover it with the 40x60 tarp pending the repairs. I considered a couple cheap tarps from the big box store but just getting a couple of those would be about the same cost as this one, and still wouldn't be as thick in total. When it arrived, I managed to (almost) unfold it in the yard so I could roll/fold it a certain way to make it easier to pull over the roof, so I had a good chance to inspect it all on the ground. I didn't see any tears and all of the seams were in good shape. The grommets around the perimeter all looked good although I did see an "extra" grommet in there. Might have been one that didn't get crimped in properly and wound up in the package. I didn't see any missing grommets so it definitely wasn't one that popped out in shipping. After finally getting it on the roof (which took 3 people... this is HEAVY), I unrolled it and secured it around the side. It is THICK! Pulling it over the damaged section where I couldn't walk, I was worried it could snag on some damaged sections and tear but even though it kind of got stuck once or twice, I got it all the way over without any incident. I was really impressed by the fact that I pulled it using a rope attached to the middle grommet and I thought for sure it would tear through or something, but that grommet was solid. It was a little bent but still good. Any other cheap tarp would have torn for sure... I have cheap tarps like that for covering wood piles or whatever and they're like tissue paper. I did notice some of the brown coloring was a little scuffed when all was said and done. It's not artwork though, it's meant to be used, and there will be wear and tear, no big deal. When it's no longer needed, I'll fold this up and keep it around because there are still a lot of big trees around and you just never know. So I shouldn't need to buy it again but if I had to, I would, and I recommend it to anyone who has a need for a heavy duty tarp.

Good heavy duty tarp
Good heavy duty tarp. A couple of the grommets were bent but no biggy.

heaviness and thickness
I purchased this tarp to cover my pontoon boat for the winter. The tarp is of excellent quality and has some weight to it for strength. It more than covered my boat and I will see how it makes it through the winter. I live in Canada and it's not uncommon for temperatures to reach -40 plus windchills. With it being 16 mil, waterproof and some extra qualities as well as the grommets being 18 inches apart, I'm hoping it will do its' job. Will see if it makes it through the winter.

Great quality. Very durable.
Excellent quality. Used it to replace my shelter cover which was shredded to pieces in the first snow storm. Looks like it will last much longer.

Great Heavy Duty camping tarp
Tarp is Heavy Duty exactly like the description says. I used the 6x20 to partially close in a 270 vehicle awning and act as a 'wall' for privacy and wind blockage. I added pieces of Velcro to the top of the tarp to stick inside of the edge of the awning. It worked great. The only thing I'd change is to have it 25 or 30 feet long to completely close in that area.

Extra strong 16 mil tarp
Excellent quality. Need extra thick tarp to close in the side porch cover to keep firewood and a small work bench for the winter (no basement)... We used fender washers to attach the tarps firmly in place. UV, water and cold temperatures resistant. Hoping, these tarps will survive the cold often blustery Canadian winters.
