Great fan! Compared to cheap Lasko I replaced, this fan is much better. The remote is a great addition for lazy people like me. I especially like the different 'smart' modes where it simulates a natural breeze by varying the speed automatically. Very cool feature!

Unlike most fans, that have simple speed adjustments, this has 3 modes. in 2 of them, the fan speeds up and slows down, mimicking the wind. as it oscillates, it slows and speeds up to keep the air moving without blasting you out. So you push the air around, and not your hair. Took about 15 minutes to assemble; it's pretty straightforward. note that the nut on the fan motor turns CLOCKWISE to remove. It's printed on there, but i didn't see it until struggling with it for a few minutes. the remote works great. it needs 2 AAA batteries that are not included. Not a problem at my house. Quiet operation, good for a large room - it's going in my wife's classroom. So - yeah, I think this is pretty cool unit.

assembling it was really difficult as the written instructions were sadly missing in every way. I hired someone to assemble and then I found it to be outstanding in performance , quiet and excellent to cool my den.

Very happy with this fan. Larger than I expected with all the bells and whistles. Putting it together was easy enough - took me 5 minutes. Was well packaged and comes with a great warranty. At first I had a bit of trouble getting the band which holds the front and back fan blade protector on but once it’s on it looks way better than other fans. I secured it around the back portion first (not tightened) and then snapped the top piece in. The base is solid and heavy and it’s quiet enough. I see other reviewers saying it isn’t super quiet. It does make some fan noise (which I actually like at night) but it’s way quieter than my last fan.

It’s so poorly made that I’m either throwing it away or giving it to a needy person who can’t afford a good one . Everything comes apart . You have to assemble the fan part also and that is just not possible for me . It will not stay together no matter what I try . It’s not worth ten dollars . I wish amazon would say it has to be assembled . Not right . I’m going to a fan store .

i love this fan but not for the reason i bought it. the sleep mode should be quiet but isn't. it cycles on and off shutting down totally and then when almost stopped it turns on the max speed. the motor strains to get back up to speed and sounds like a freight train trying to take off under load. moves lots of air, remote works well all around great fan but i need something quiet so i can hear the tv while on the treadmill. with "sleep" mode i thought it would be much quieter.

Second one I bought. This one is for my bedroom. I love the remote. I don't move very well and the remote saves me a lot of effort getting up and down. It is also quiet.

This Oscillating Floor Fan with Remote looks great in person and operates just as described. Quiet fan, adjustable height fan makes it simple to get a breeze just how I like it. Remote for fan works great. Multi-speed lets me be comfortable.
