Globemaster Allium - 3 bulbs

Very tiny bulbs, will takes a few years to see any blooms, plus they came from China. Not even sure they are actually globemaster variety. Packed in tiny box with Chinese newspaper, no planting instructions or even identification of what they were. Now I know why they were less expensive than other listings, but still too much for what I received.

There is no way these are globemaster. They are tiny and the wrong color. A globemaster bulb should be the size of a tennis ball or baseball, and creamy tan or white. These are smaller than a ping pong ball and bright red. One is the size of a marble. They look like what you would plant as a red onion start.I’ll update next spring as to what grows, but it certainly won’t be globemaster allium.

The bulbs were packed in a small package with newspaper. There was no written documentation as to what the bulbs were and they appear much smaller than expected (as another viewer noted). I am not sure if I even received Globemaster Allium Bulbs.6/2020 update- the allium bulbs received bloomed and are white and about 2 inches in diameter.

My order came with 4 bulbs, so that was a nice surprise, but it was shipped from China so took several weeks to arrive. When they did, the bulbs had begun sprouting from the warmth in the packaging ... for a fall-planted bulb, that's not what you want. I have them in the fridge now to put them back to "sleep" before I plant. We'll see how they do in the spring.

When I received my Globemaster Allium bulbs they had all sprouted. I planted them immediately; however, they didn't look big enough to be Globemaster bulbs. They were very small.It is now Spring and only one survived and it is NOT a Globemaster Allium bulb. It is even smaller than regular Allium. Do not waste your money with this company

Bulbs were very small for Globemasters. Received and planted in September. It is now the last week in June. As you can see from my photo, they are not what was advertised. As I needed to wait for them to grow I cannot return them due to the time limit. Do not order.

These are terrific bulbs! I love this seller! The bulbs are very large, fresh, and come beautifully packaged, with planting instructions. I was amazed at how quickly they arrived, too! I ordered two sets, two different times, and have been super-pleased each time.
