The charm is held on by both sides of the bracelet and hangs freely but secure. The small clasp that joins the ends of the bracelet together was a little difficult to open and close but with some patience I was able to get in on easily. I love initial jewelry. I think it has such an elegant feel. I own necklaces and a few other pieces but not a bracelet. When I saw this I was so excited to buy it and try it out. The bracelet has a double gold chain coming from the round stamped initial plate. The plate itself isn't very thick but not too thin either. The size of the round initial was a little too big for my wrist but I still do plan on wearing it. I don't think the gold looks fake or cheap. It looks nice. The clasp has sizing options so it should fit all size wrists. I have a skinny wrist and I'm not afraid of it slipping off. This would be such a great gift for a friend or niece. The bracelet arrives in a classy black velvet bag and inside that bag is the bracelet inside another plastic bag. This "Initial" Charm bracelet in gold tone is cute and simple. It is very light and has a nice sparkle to it. The clasp is nice and the size for wearing around your wrist is adjustable in length. For the price of this product, the quality is good. It's delicate without compromising durability. I personally liked the double strands of chain on each side of the charm piece instead of the usual single strand. That added a little something to its' appeal for me. The embossed letter in the charm piece is deep enough so to be easily seen. And, I liked the font type used.
