My family loves this speaker! It gets used more than all of our other bluetooth speakers because the sound and battery life are great! The sound is significantly better than our Bose Soundlink II and the fact that it is waterproof makes it the number one choice in our house (my teenage kids quit using the other speakers). Crisp highs and decent bass. Very sturdy, I don't think it has ever been tipped over - unlike other speakers we have that tipped over often and broke. The only issue is that the voice is pretty loud when "Powering On" or "Powering Off", I wish there was a way of muting it or having it just beep.

After seeing a speaker my older brother had (Apple version) I decided I needed a "good" outdoor speaker for the pool and pool house areas. I did research a few and came upon this NYNE bluetooth speaker. Decided to take a chance. So far it has been 1) extremely user friendly for PAIRING to any phone/device, 2) Sound quality is outstanding, 3) Perfect weight and structure (rubber feet and edges) to keep it in one place and not have it slide or vibrate off due to "bass", and 4) color choice allows for it to match most decor!! I absolutely love it. We plan on ordering a 2nd one soon to pair with this 1st one and be able to have music up on our deck as well!!! So far, GREAT PURCHASE!!!

This unit has remarkably great sound, deep bass that isn't overpowering or distorted. I was actually kinda bummed when I found out that the power is rated at 6 watts per speaker and I own an Aomais 10 watt per speaker unit that I'm really happy with. However after powering up this little gem I was amazed at how clear and transparent the highs and mids are while maintaining a frequency response that has to be below 50 Hz anyway. The sound is really clean and the low frequencies are smooth with no detectable distortion. The unit doesn't put out the Db that a higher powered one does but the frequency response to me is worth it. The battery has lasted me about four hours at 50 to 75% volume, so we'll see how that works out. The build is very good with the bass radiator protected by a grid that does its job while not impeding the sound. Great job in the design!!

I bought this speaker for my office for a little background music. It is very high quality and the sound is great. But when you turn it on and it announces it's connected or it's powering down, it is so loud and there is no way to turn that volume down! Everyone in my office (and maybe the office next door) can hear when I've turned it on, when I have connected and when I've powered down. I need a small pillow to smother it so as not to disturb my colleagues.

This is a very nice Bluetooth portable speaker. It pairs reliably each time it is used, and produces nice sound quality.It is heavy, which may be a problem for some, but this is partly due to the large battery capacity and the hefty speakers. The waterproof construction seems to be well done. This is a very nice unit. Here are some areas that could improve:1. The sound alerts when turning off, on, pairing, or self-powering down are VERY LOUD! The does not seem to be anyway to quiet these audio alerts. They are way too loud for my lifestyle. Please tell the design engineers there is no need to blow out our ears with these audio alerts. ( Or course, if you use this by a noisy place like an airport runway, a train station or the sea shore, the loud sounds might be appreciated.) The loud alert is very bad if you use this to play gentle music to induce sleep... but when the unit detects it is not being used ( the user is asleep) it BLAST A LOUD ALERT, waking the sleeper! At least put these alerts through the volume control so we can set them to the desired level, please.2. The natural place to use a water proof speaker is in the shower- there is no way to hang this in the shower. Most of these types of BT speakers have a hook or a strap so it can be hung in the shower. I have to balance this on top of the glass- it might very easily fall and get damaged in this position. The maker should provide a simple nylon or rubber strap so that it is easier and safer to use in the shower.If you buy this unit expect good performance, good battery life, but a few issues might prevent you enjoying it 100%

I had the NYNE Vibe which I liked very much. I knocked it into the pool and it floated for seconds and I retrieved it. It would not shut off and kept talking for hours until the battery quit. After a couple of days I tried to charge it. It is advertised as water resistant. I paid under $50 for it. Anyway, I liked so much I ordered this Boost model which is identical in looks. I’ll be more careful how close to the pool I put it.

I built a 16’ X 25’ pergola on the backside of house and was needing some sound that would be perfect for gatherings. I found just what I was looking for with these little jewels. I purchased 3 and only use 2 in this space.Mid volume is almost too loud but not annoying.Excellent bass , and even able to answer the phone when connected with iPhone.Love these and highly recommend..

I like it. Sturdily built, nicely designed to resist drops and bumps, good sound, good battery life. Just one thing. When you start it, it LOUDLY announces that it's on. Then it LOUDLY announces that it found bluetooth. I can picture the product designers sitting around saying "but we have to be sure this thing can be heard during an air raid," when in fact a quiet beep followed by a blue light would be completely adequate. Why oh why would you want to announce to everyone within shouting distance that the speaker is on? I wrote to tech support and they said the ASSIST VOICE can't be turned off. I guess I'm old-fashioned, but I hate this trend that everyone who sells you a product expects that product to be CENTRAL to your life. When I buy a product, I want it to unobtrusively go about it's job. Otherwise STICK A SOCK IN IT!
