SeaSnax Organic Roasted Seaweed Snack, Lime, 0.36 Ounce (Pack of 12)

UPDATE (a couple days after my original review)Ok I changed from 4 to 5 stars because YES THEY ARE STRANGELY ADDICTIVE! I've now eaten 4 full packages and I can't even understand why. 🤪 I think I may have a slight problem with self-control because not only am I devouring them straight out of the package but there are moments when I catch myself imagining what dishes I can add them to and when I see the box all the packs came in my mouth starts watering. 😅😂 So bizarre!!!I really should have researched these more before ordering. They are nowhere near what I imagined from the description and main package photo. When it said they are crunchy I expected a firm chip or cracker-like texture but they're actually extremely thin sheets of nori (I can see through areas of them when held up to light), quite large like if you held 2 saltine crackers side by side, and the actual texture is really difficult to describe. The best I can say it is think of a flattened churro sliced paper thin that is not firm or thick enough not to bend a bit if a light breeze passed by. They do have the tiniest amount of crisp to them, as does anything deep or air fried with oil.Since it said wasabi flavor I of course expected them to contain wasabi, but instead it's that imitation version made with another type of horseradish and spicy mustard. Rather disappointing considering the price, and that I love authentic wasabi paste so much that when I go out for sushi I eat tiny bits of it all by itself for that head rush I get from my sinuses temporarily burning. (yep I'm weird) Nonetheless the taste was still good enough to eat a few sheets but I stopped because it made me want sushi rice to go with it so much that I felt kind of annoyed I couldn't have any. I'll probably eat a few sheets here and there, maybe try dabbing some soy sauce on them, but I don't desire to eat a whole pack at once... and that sucks because I have 11 more packages to finish by November :/ Also didn't expect them to be in a plastic tray inside the outer packaging because again, I had chips in mind. Maybe I'll share some with my father... dunno. At least they don't have that annoying pg65 cancer and reproductive harm warning on them like most Asian food sold in the US does these days, so that's a big plus (although that doesn't really matter to me either considering I am in remission from cervical cancer that eventually spread elsewhere and is still being taken care of, but that's life)Maybe you will enjoy this product immensely but unfortunately I will not be purchasing these a second time. I'll say it again, it's a decent product but its just not for me.

I love the Olive Oil Sea Salt variety but these were a major miss. I don't know how to describe the flavor; just funky. Has a bad aftertaste. Sorry SeaSnax but I'm afraid I have to throw these away. :(I absolutely recommend their Olive Oil Sea Salt variety though, as well as the BBQ flavored Chomperz. However, due to the non-recyclable outer packaging I don't buy them as often as I would like. This is the only brand of seaweed snacks I have found on Amazon -or in person- that is Prop 65 free. I even checked their website and no mention. I still encourage everyone to do their own research, but so far this is the only brand I trust. I just really hope they fix the packaging issue so I can enjoy them more.

These seaweed snacks are great, though I might say they should be described as "hint of lime" instead of lime. The lime flavor is definitely present and noticeable, but it can be a bit inconsistent. It is certainly not overwhelming.These have become my new favorite seaweed snack.

My favorite seaweed snack although a little pricey. It would be nice if the manufacturer would provide documentation for heavy metal testing.

The price is good, the bags are big! And there’s a lot of jalapeño in there. They are pretty hot.

So far I like the lime and chipotle flavored one. So decided to get another pack of Lime along with the Barbeque flavor. Love this snack, its healthy and I intend to try it with some konjac rice one morning. 👍

These are wonderfully packaged and in cool little sheets. Unfortunately I have never tried seaweed anything before and it just tasted horrible. The lime tasted great but not the seaweed. But I'm sure they are great for someone who actually likes it.

The only reason why I don’t give 5 stars is because it is a little pricey, but the taste and the texture is excellent!
