great harness
This is a great harness that eliminates shoulder/neck fatigue from carrying your camera. I have used it with my Canon 70d and 100-400 lens while walking 6+ mile for several weeks. The rain guard covers the camera but not the whole camera and lens.Instead for using the security strap I keep the should strap on my camera and have that around my neck while the camera is in the harness.

Good design and very well made.
A bit pricey but nothing else I know of holds your camera safely at the ready. I would have rated this a 5 overall but the ad is misleading. I would still like to get the add-on side holder and another adapter and thought this came with both.

A great way to relieve neck strain on a long day with your camera
Just used this on a 12 hour pelagic birding trip with my Nikon D7100 and a Nikon 200-500mm lens. It works perfectly. I found you can set the lens in the holster without sliding it in all the way and it still held the camera securely. When the camera is locked in it isn't going anywhere at all. I am 6'6" 325 lbs and the carrier fit me comfortably. Highly recommend!
