best ever book in my life

Amazing book on finance.

The book intends to explain the crux of George Soros's investment philosophy. But before we rejoice over the fact that we'll be able to mimic him by reading this book, I'd like to caution everyone that this book will not let you trade the way he did. He is not giving any thumb rule or general formula, instead he is describing how he formed his opinions on the market taking into account several macroeconomic events that affected his fund during the timeframe in which the book was written. One who is not well versed in finance will not be able to grasp how these events tie together in the grand scheme of things. And his descriptions of these events are rudimentary at best, so to read more into it, one needs to have a decent grasp of finance or macroeconomics. The general rule that he intends to describe is simple: Reflexivity.A great read for someone who is navigating the macroeconomic aspect of world economics.

This is my first book on Audible and I must say both the experience of being read out a book and the content was fulfilling.

This review is more to caution that the paper quality on which this Indian edition is printed, is quite unfortunate...not worth buying. Better to purchase from .com site and pay more.

The pages of the book were stuck together and required me to cut them apart to be able to read.Binding of the book was very low quality with excess paper sticking out from other pages which was then slyly folded to prevent the buyer from noticing this.Some pages were partially torn and not attached to the binding properly.Would not recommend buying this copy of the book.

Wonderful tools that any and everyone can use. This book explores the financial world in a way that is easy to understand. You don’t get lossed in financial Mumbo jumbo. This book breaks down complex concepts in an easy to digest way. I would recommend this read to all of my friends and family.

I am reading this book for a second time and I am achieving the conclusion that this is the best book of macroeconomics and speculation that I ever read and I have read around thirty of top investors or techhnical features. Not easy maybe, but a really amazing book
