Chessbuzz Quadruple Weight Tournament Professional Chess Game Set - Chess Board Game with Natural Chess Pieces, Green Vinyl Board

This is not as advertised. I have had my hands on four different quad weight chess sets, this is nowhere near that. The pieces are undersized for the board, extremely underweighted, and the board came folded in fours, resulting in an irritating, nearly permanent crease(which would not be such a big problem if the pieces were actually quad weighted, heavy enough to hold the board down). Vinyl boards should always be rolled to avoid stubborn creases.On top of the fact that it was falsely advertised, the pieces have many imperfections, this is most notable on the white pieces which not only show large pores and imperfections from the casting process, but large scuffs and black stains. This set looks like a factory second.So disappointing. If only it was packaged correctly (with the board rolled up) and advertised honestly, this would be a fine double-ish weight, rough-playing chess set. At present, I can't feel good about giving this any more than 1 star.

Great value! Love the weight and feel of the pieces. I grew up using a Green Board like this one and used it in school as well. Brings back a lot of memories. One small problem was that the King came with the cross broken off the crown. Packaging could have been better for the pieces to protect them.

The chess pieces were absolutely not quadruple weighted. I am a tournament club player. I purchased these since I accidentally left my triple weighted pieces behind on a trip over the holidays. These are not even triple weighted. Very disappointed.

Nice vinyl board. Pieces are decently constructed but are smaller than expected. Definitely not quadruple weight as advertised though.
