I think that this wool is of good quality. I am fairly new to knitting so I confess that I do not know a great deal about wool or knitting but this wool is certainly better than other brands that I have used. I can knit well with it. The colour was how I expected it to be. I have previously brought wool from this company and so far, have not been disappointed. I am using this wool to make a large blanket.New info 29.5.2021.I have found this free chart online, (see photo). It gives an idea on how many stitches to cast on depending on the size of blanket you are knitting and thickness of wool / yarn you are using. It looks like the weight of yarn is given in American sizes so I have tried to put the English sizes / weights at the bottom in red ink. I hope this helps.

Excellent yarn - used it to make a gnome doorstep from a pattern by Knitting by Post. It turned out really well, but was too cute to put on the floor. The shade of green was ideal for the project.

I bought this to make a blanket for next door’s baby. His mum wanted a black blanket. The first one I made seemed a bit small so I made a much larger one as well. She is delighted. He uses the little one as a cuddly blanket. It’s plump and warm and light.

Lovely wool, nice bright mustard shade. I wanted a chunky wool to knit a scarf and this one is ideal. I would recommend it. Good value.

This yarn is lovely. It is a chunky yarn as described. It's very soft and so easy to use. I've used this for crochet and is perfect with a 5 or 6mm hook. Could also be used with larger hooks. The company have since been in touch and sent me a yarn colour chart and a brochure with all of its other yarns. I will definatley be buying again for my next product with out hesitation.

Been crocheting a nice blanket with this stuff.It's a lot softer than I thought it would be and is pretty good quality for the price.
