Ghirardelli White Mocha Frappe, 3.12 Pound

My teenager loves the expensive mochas and frappes from the retail chains. I purchased this as an attempt for her to not spend all her money on $5-6 ones from the stores. She loves this mix. She can make a hot drink if wanted, but mainly has made frappes with it. She uses iced coffee for an extra coffee flavor, adds chocolate chips for java chip feel, and now that pumpkin season has come back around uses pumpkin spice iced coffee concentrate for a fall favorite. She made one for my husband and said he'd never be able to tell the difference from the Starbucks ones she gets! I also like that it had a base recipe on the actual container itself as it made it easier for her to start making them on her own.

I love the chocolate flavor!!! Very strong and good, you can easily add more chocolate syrup easily with this. I have had other flavors that have chocolate chips mixed in, and this is very easy done with this flavor as well. I love the simplicity of both of the flavors for the ease of making frappes in the mornings for my coffee fix.

It is delicious. You have to make sure that you mix it with you milk or water first. I have a froth mixer that mixes it for me but if you haven’t watched any YouTube videos to train you on making a mocha, then it’s a possibility that you could use this product wrong. I use a regular 32 oz coffee cup: 2 shots of espresso, a scoop of mocha (up to line 2) , 2.5 cups of milk, 6 shots of vanilla syrup. It makes the perfect mocha every time . This is a good product, the only way I get build up is if I mix too much mocha in my drink.

I loved it, but my wife just liked it. She prefers the Classic White mix with no coffee included. I tend to agree and find if I want that added coffee flavor, I just substitute a shot of espresso for 2 of the 6 oz of milk.

Makes a great frappe as instructed, or a quick chocolate milk, but I usually use it to sweeten and flavor a breakfast smoothie: One banana I’d peeled, broken into chunks, and frozen, A few ice cubes, A third cup rolled oats I blitzed to a coarse flour in an electric bladed coffee grinder (or food processor), A dash of vanilla, A cup or so of milk, Half a scoop of frappe powder. Blend. Fruit, milk and oatmeal, to go. Blend well to remove any grainy texture though.

I didn't realize that this is coffee -free but it still yummy. I mixed it with my coffee to have a mocha-coffee drink! You can't go wrong buying Ghirardelli products!

Great product, on time delivery

I personally was not impressed with the flavor or the way it didn't dissolve readily.. I had a weird after taste after trying it in frappe, But not saying it's bad just depends on the person's like , for me it wasn't a favorite for frappe..I would try this as hot cocoa as it does have a strength of bitterness chocolate to it and a cream or whipped cream probably complement it greatly.

This stuff is great! I bought it at a slight discount as it was close to date, but it was still over ten pounds, so definitely not cheap. However, not only does a little go a long way, but it has opened my eyes to a whole world of iced, blended drinks to make at home. A frappe thingy in one of the big coffee chains might cost three or four pounds, and yet this power has made me realise that the vast majority of the drink is ice, and that - for example - a handful of frozen berries and a scoop of this powder, blended with ice, gives a luxurious and seemingly decadent treat for really a matter of pence.

Hab mich sehr gefreut das Produkt in Deutschland zu bekommen, jedoch fehlen 80g zu den angegebenen 1,5kg. Auf der Packung sind 1,42kg angegeben und hier ist es mit 1,5kg ausgezeichnet. 80g ist eine Portion um die man betrogen wird!
