This was disappointing. Columbine seeds are very small but they are also pretty obvious because they are very dark. I should have counted them because there was nowhere close to 800. If I had been inside I would have. I went ahead and put them out because they are not cold stratified so they need to go out for the winter. Columbine grow naturally in this area so we will see what happens.If they are not going to put 800 in a package they should just change the description!! I hate being lied to!!

The package had a lot of seeds, much more than other columbine seed packets I had purchased before. I planted them in in pots and directly in the ground during the fall to stratify them. I brought the pots in during the early spring and the seeds have excellent germination rates. I think I've noticed a few from the ones I planted directly in the grounds starting to come up now even though it's still a bit cold. I'm very happy with these seeds.

Arrived early. You will get a LOT of seeds. Like a lot a lot. I had some other columbine seeds from the store that were the same price, and these easily had 10x the amount. I'm going the indoor germination route but these would be perfect to scatter somewhere in the fall and let them grow wild just because they had soooo many seeds. Really a good deal.

Came late ,I planted them I hope they sprout.
