Hurtta Extreme Warmer Dog Winter Jacket, Lingon, 20 in

My chihuahua weighs 8lbs and winters were pretty rough for her until I managed to find this amazing coat! It fits her perfectly and covers her back legs a little which has helped some of her knee pain. The snood works great for her ears since they stand up and get blown around by the wind. She has a pretty thick neck and bit of a barrel chest so the adjustment points were a necessity since her measurements aren't any of the common sizes for coats. She gets a little cold when we first start walking but a few minutes in she's all toasty warm where the coat has covered her up. It's pretty water resistant when it comes to snow but isn't great for slush or water puddles but it dries fast and cleans up great when I've hand washed it in the sink a few times after the streets were slushy. I cannot recommend this coat enough for people with small dogs or dogs with short fur in the winter. I will be buying for every future dog I have, this is a necessary item!

I have a German short haired pointer. 65 lbs He has very little hair on his underside, so keeping warm can be an issue. Most all the dog coats I have tried do not fit his large chest size, and he’s very cut or trim at the back belly before his back legs. This coat adjusts to his body shape. We just had sub zero temps & he loves his new Hurtta coat. He actually wanted to go out & do his business & stayed out longer in the cold weather. This coat is very adjustable in several key areas. At the neck is an elastic cinch cord built into the coat, then there is another built in cinch cord that runs down the base of the neck to the rump. The gater at the neck adjusts in width, this can cover his ears and stays in place thru heavy running play time. The quick clip chest fastener also it adjustable. There is a slit at the tail, & can be snapped under tail or left open. Elastic straps for rear legs to hold back area down, they do not have to be used for basic potty time but are great for running play time. The reflective inner material is warm to the touch when he comes back in so you know it works retaining body heat. After the initial adjustments are cinched they stay that way for the next use. So easy to slip on, he comes running headfirst into his coat, pull the gater over his ears,I grab the clips under his chest & quick clip over his back, all in about 20 seconds. Well worth the money he’s 3 & will use for many years to come. It’s water resistant and keeps the wet rain or snow off his back.

I swear by Hurtta's winter dog coats- its the only coat that I feel confident about keeping my short haired pittie mix, Odele, warm when it's 18F degrees outside. Odele had the Hurtta Expedition Parka last year (which is also great), I got the Hurtta Extreme Warmer since it looked like it even warmer than the Expedition Parka. The Extreme Warmer is so well made and has multiple points for adjustments to customize the fit. I purchased it in the summer time and just this December busted it out of storage once Chicago starting seeing below 40 degrees weather. I ordered the 20" since this is what his measurements size to. Also the 20" Expedition parka fit with room to spare. The two coat styles have to same measurement sizing so I was super disappointed when I found the 20" Extreme Warmer fits much shorter. Since I purchased it in the summer, I was months past my return window period by the time I had Odele wear the coat.I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask if I could return or exchange the coat. When I did, the seller (William Hunter Equestrian) was amazing- responded quickly and graciously allowed me to return it. I couldn't believe how great the customer service was and am so thankful that they permitted a refund so I can order a coat that fits Odele to keep him happy and toasty this winter!I would 1000% recommend purchasing from William Hunter Equestrian.

So far this Hurtta Extreme Warmer Dog Winter Jacket has been keeping my 10 month old healer warm in MN weather. My dog is about 40 lbs and I went with size 20,which fit perfectly. The size was so confusing because her her chest and neck measurements were way off (a lot smaller) for that's recommended for size 20.but after reading reviews, I went with the back legnth and I'm glad I did. It's not super thick as I thought it'd be but I can't comment on how it'll hold up for single digit Temps since we simply just haven't gone out when it's that cold. This is my first dog and first doggy jacket so I have no other jackets to compare. Features I like: adjustable around neck, chest and back, easy to slip the head through the front (I thought it'll be difficult), bottom layer to cover dog (didn't realize how nice it was to keep bottom from getting wet/dirty) , overall water resistant, two slits in the back for the harness (for me, one for the lease and the second one for the handle of my harness) and the slit In the back for when the dog needs to take care of business. There are two elastic bands that goes around the hind legs that keeps the jacket from slipping off. I've read some complaints about this, but for me it was fine. My dog was able to run wild without it bothering her and do her thing. I'd say about 90% of the time her poop doesn't get on the back of the coat. I think it just depends on how far down your dog crouches and maybe the size of the stool? If we're just going for a walk then I leave the elastic on the back off and that's been fine too. Itd have to say this is perfect for the dog park when there's snow and/or rain on the ground. She plays rough and she's usually clean(er) from dirt and water with this jacket on. Overall it was a great purchase and I'm happy with it.

Ich habe den Hurtta Extreme Warmer vor etwa 3 Jahren für meinen Jack Russell Terrier gekauft, und ich bin immer noch begeistert von diesem Produkt.Der Mantel passt meinem Hund perfekt und hält ihn in den kältesten Wintern angenehm warm.Die Verarbeitung und Qualität sind wirklich beeindruckend. Ich schätze besonders die Robustheit des Materials, da es den rauen Aktivitäten meines energiegeladenen Hundes standhält.Außerdem sieht der Mantel wunderschön aus. Alles in allem bin ich äußerst zufrieden mit dem Hurtta Extreme Warmer und kann ihn uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

We happily used this product 4 months or so. It has a unique design covering more parts of the body and still giving enough room to dogs to move freely. The quality is still so good, as if it was purchased yesterday. Our dog was a puppy then and is now full grown, so we want to buy another Hurtta. We love and trust this brand. I recommend!

Pro:Das Material hält was versprochen wird. Ich wollte es ehrlich gesagt nicht glauben. Aber auch bei Minusgraden war mein kurz geschorener Pudel nach 1 Stunde Spaziergang noch warm am Körper.Und dafür muss er nicht mehr so einen dicken unbequemen Mantel an haben. Dieser hier ist leicht und gefällig.Dicke Regenschauer hält er gut ab.Die Verarbeitung ist einwandfrei, was ich in dieser Preislage aber auch voraussetze.Bei Schnee und Regen lässt sich der Kragen gut über den Kopf ziehen ohne die Sicht zu beeinträchtigen.Der lange Überhang am Po hält auch dort Wind, Regen und Kälte ab. Wenn man den Druckknopf (wozu ist der eigentlich?) auflässt, passiert auch nichts beim Kotabsetzen. Könnte trotzdem etwas kürzer sein.Das Anziehen geht sehr einfach und schnell. Die Bauchbreite ist verstellbar.Ebenso die Rückenlänge, womit ich zum Sternabzug komme.Kontra:Ich habe für meinen Hund mit 45 cm Rückenlange auch die Größe 45 bestellt.Gepasst hätte aber locker eine Nr. kleiner.Ich muss die Rückenlänge ganz eng raffen, was mittels Kordelzug möglich ist. Dann geht's. Sieht aber ein bisschen aus, als wenn mein Hund darin versinkt.Entsprechen ist auch die Brustweite etwas groß.Ich nehme es hin. Wir brauchten den Mantel dringend und haben ihn darum nicht zurück geschickt.Ich würde aber ansonsten kleiner kaufen, da der Mantel immer noch reichlich (ca. 10cm) verstellbaren Spielraum gibt.Alles in allem aber zu empfehlen. Gerade bei Minusgraden für Hunde die ohne Unterwolle!

El empaque venía abierto, por lo que era evidente que era un producto usado. La talla es correspondiente a la de 60cm de espalda para que puedan ubicar las medidas en la tabla.Respecto del la chaqueta en sí, es de buen material.
