1513: Ponce de Leon Discovers Florida

For those that still have the ignorance to believe Columbus discovered America, when in fact, it was Leif Ericsson some 500 years earlier and Columbus never set foot in America- please read this book. Taken from the diaries of Arlo de la Cerda, life friend of Ponce de Leon, it is a most fascinating read. I recommend this for anyone over the age of 13.

A wonderful book to read for all Floridians and history buffs as we commemorate the 500 years of "La Florida".

If you like history and especially Florida history it’s a must read.
