I picked up the butane at a Walmart in the camping section. I noticed that have been some people who cannot figure out where to buy it at. By the way there are 2 types of butane one for refilling lighters and such, and it has a long nozzle. The other one is a short nozzle with a notch in the top, and that is what this one uses. This is a great little torch, and I'm sure I shall get a lot of use from it. Thanks so much.

This craft torch is super easy to use for soldering, plumbing, jewelry and the flame is just right, the butane torch feels completely safe to use and my craft project (which involves soldering and copper pipes) comes out flawless!Doesn't leak like other brands did. 1 year and still works like a champ, would buy again withn no hesitation.Fine product. Great craft torch for all your copper & brass projects. I use mine for brass repairs and the baby does exactly what it is suppose to do. The butane torch melts the solder easily and fast like it supposes to do.Great product have not had any issues with it. use it mostly for doing soldering, brazzing and quick heat shrink jobs.Really handy to use for those small jobs. This unit stands up compared to other butane torches and is really handy for a quick solder or for golf club repair.

If you are looking for soldering outside, the torch is a good heat source. This has been one of the most useful and best butane torchs I've had so far. I've enjoyed using it as it fits my hand easily and it's straight forward to use.The torch is easy to be refilled and works very well.

I do silversmithing and comes pretty handy, after a lot of projects and continues doing the job easily and quick. Would buy again!

I've used a couple of different brands of fuel. The output seems to slow to the output of a Bic lighter. Don't know what the problem is.... maybe clogging up? It would have taken me 10 minutes to put a sear on a pork chop. Micro torch? The flame is as big as the flame you get from the tall metal torches you buy at the big box hardware store. Wouldn't buy again.

Great torch, needs propane tank very powerfull

Does the job when you need tor heat shrink tubes and copper soldering beside cigars and other house jobs. Doesn't come with butane gas, but you can buy one cheap in a convenience store and install it with no problem. It is very user friendly which makes it easy for travelling and outdoors activities such as camping.

I've bought two of these and both worked great for a few weeks, then just stopped putting out any significant flames. Disappointed in the "heavy duty" quality as marketed for sure.
