I had vinyl before I took the plunge and invested in the tempered glass. I'm really glad I spent the extra money, as glass is so much better than the vinyl.Also, their customer service is great. I ordered 2 items at the same time. One for my round dining room table, and a rectangle for my desk. FedEx indicated that both were delivered, whereas I only received one. I messaged the vendor, and very shortly after contacting them, got a response that confirmed that FedEx had split up the shipment, and they provided me with the tracking number for the second item. It showed up the next day.I'm very satisfied.

The glass table top arrived intact and on the day scheduled to arrive.
We really like the glass top and it looks good on our wood table. Also, we shopped locally for a glass top and the price was almost $100 more than we paid.
