My ceiling has not fallen down
Easy to use. Seems to work.I put up new plaster board where there used to be a bulkhead. Had fill in new plaster to match the old. So far so good.

Paint directly over plaster-weld
Got a horrible bathroom with peeling paint, no problem. Scrap the big pieces off, put Plaster-Weld in the big holes with a paint brush. Now put your plaster mixed with sheet rock compound into big holes and cracks. Rough up the old paint and roll Plaster-Weld over the whole bathroom. The next day paint everything with latex paint right over the Plaster-Weld, the latex paint will stick to it just fine. You can turn an old mess of a wall into a solid steam proof paint job with Plaster-Weld!

Great Bonding Agent
I used Plaster Weld on an rennovarion in which I plastered the walls and ceiling in a 16' X 35' room. Most of the old plaster board was removed and replaced with 5/8" drywall to match thicknesses between old work and new. The bonding agent was spread over new drywall and old latex-painted plaster board. I had no problems with the fresh plaster adhering to either surface, even in areas where it took a couple of weeks to plaster after applying the bonding agent.

Worked beautifully! A great product!
Easy to apply to clean well-prepared plaster walls of a historic house that were in good stable condition. After removing layers of wallpaper and glue residue, I wanted to insure that the Venetian plaster treatment that I was applying would have good adherence since it is so much effort to achieve. Worked out perfectly and I used the Larsen Plaster-Weld in place of primer for this project and am very happy with the results!

Can arrived with rim dented and contents spilled within the shipping bag
The bonder just arrived and felt a bit squishy when I picked it up. The reason ... the can is dented at the top rim, spilled its contents into the shipping bag and the lid will not seal as the rim is damaged.Top was dented so will not seal and spilled into packaging. Please advise. Thank you

Wouldn't purchase this again
When we opened this to use it, it was a big mass with no liquid.

Hard to go wrong using Plaster Weld
Really like this product because it solves two common problems when plastering. First, being glue, it sticks to everything including dust, and binds it. Plaster doesn’t stick to dust but it will stick to Plaster Weld extremely well. Second, some surfaces absorb water in plasters and adversely affect working time and how they set. Plaster Weld creates a water barrier so that the plaster retains its workability and sets as expected. You could use any PVA white glue, some of which is cheaper, to get similar results. However, normal PVA white glue dries clear. I like the pink tint to this glue which makes it easy to see if you missed a spot. If your like me and you can’t remember what you did yesterday the pink tint makes it obvious the surface is ready.

3rd time trying to write a review - I bought this here!
For over 20 years we have used and LOVE this product. It does NOT fail. Period. Does what nothing else does. On OSB, painted on, then plaster directly with pladter+10% Portland cement - result? hard, seamless, wall of perfec5tion and no grey coat, no sheet rock, l etc. Great product.
