Works fine
Have lots of USB add ons - mouse, printer, memory dongle etc, None of which can connect to be new AppleMac Air. This device does the business. No issues with fitting - fits very snugly to the laptop - colour match isn't perfect but it doesn't look out of place. ONE WORD OF WARNING - there are lots of different adaptors, make sure you order what you want. I went for a slightly cheaper adaptor and now realise there isn't a HDMI socket - but 2 memory card slots which I don't use ! my fault !! So take the time to tick the boxes before ordering

Does the job
Works fine. Be aware that it's powered from a micro usb port so it has a limited amount of power to give to whatever is plugged into it. So if whatever you plug into it draws any power it might run into trouble. It's fine with external hard drives that have their own power supply but it won't be for ones that don't or charging mobile phones etc.

Quickly went faulty.
Product failed after only a few weeks. Started to have random disconnects of devices attached to the hub which got worse. With external power and 4 low power devices attached to the hub, usually only 2-3 of them are visible. Power cycling the hub (by removing the inputs) sometimes makes a different combination appear, or in rare cases all of them. Even after getting the devices connected, it often disconnects if you try to transfer any significant amount of data from it.Tried to find a firmware update but didn’t seem to be one available. Thought it could be a Mac compatibility issue but others in the reviews have got it to work.The device is a great form factor and light but such a shame it doesn’t work!

Works well on my Mac, make my life easy, I recommend!
I love this product, which makes my life easy. I have recently switched to use Mac from being a Windows user for a long time. The Thunderbolt 3 dock is not compatible with any USB charger which is annoying. This one has helped me save many hours wasted in online file transfer. And I can directly put my SD card in it. It's brilliant, value for money as I see. I highly recommend it.

Very good product, I used it on my Mac and it worked perfect and for the price you can’t go wrong,definitely worth it for the usb c aswell and handy with the sd card aswell. Highly recommend it.

Doesn't support external hard drives
This works fine for most things but it states it would work for external hard drives... I've had it plugged in at the wall and it does not work with my external hard drive. I would like to be refunded or sent a working hub, as this is the only thing I needed it to do.
