I work as a bartender and this is the muddler that I have been using. The long handle works well. You can maintain a full grip on the handle even in taller glasses. You will be amazed at how fast the large textured end crushes the ingredients. The only downside to the muddler is that the handle has lost it's shiny appearance and become a bit mottled, barely enough to be noticed though. Please remember that this is used many times a day 7 days a week and is being washed in a commercial dishwasher. It has held up better than most items that we have put into service. I suggest hand washing the utensil and i doubt you will have any problems.

It must last for a very long time. It is made of steel with nylon head with toothed grinding edges. I have average sized hands and I was able to grip it properly plus it feels really good in hand. It is lightweight and durable. It is very easy to wash and clean.This muddler is equally good for citrus spices and herb muddling. I have also used it to mash potatoes, smash fruits like berries and crush soft boiled vegetables. This muddler is an excellent value for money and I would strongly recommend anyone looking to buy a muddler to give this a try.
