DA VINCI 10 Series Tobolsky-Kolinsky Sable Water Colour Brush, Bristle, Red, 18.6 x 0.13 x 30 cm

Cracking quality brush that I use for painting miniatures. Comfortable in hand and high quality bristles that hold plenty of paint. Really good value imo.

Unlike many other detail brushes, this has very long, stiff bristles that can hold enough paint and moisture and yet have a wonderfully fine tip. Much easier to do the detail work without mistakenly drowning the ferrule in paint. Excellent brush, and has earned a permanent spot in my "most used brushes" lineup.

A fantastic brush but I felt the stated price was misleading. This was the cheapest I saw originally but hidden additional costs made it overall more expensive than others seen on eBay.

Arrived completely frayed, might have been possible to repair it but I don't expect a premium brush to arrive "new" in a completely unusable state

Great quality

First, Da Vinci Maestro brushes are my favourite at the moment and I ordered a replacement for the one I destroyed with incorrect use (it now doesn't hold the point well). Hence 5 for the product itself. However, the replacement ordered from this seller arrived 2 weeks later and was a defective product as you can see from the picture (my old brush is on the right and the brush I received - with bent ferrule - on the left).

Très bon pinceau

Using a size 1 to paint some w40k space marines, beauty of a brush, comes to a very nice point once it takes on some paint, and the extra bristle length makes it easier to hold paint on the tip and belly without gunking up the ferrule. It handles great and I find it precise enough to do fine detail work as well as blocking in colors, though I use my big cheap brushes for bulk work. I will ammend this review if I find its durability lacking.

Excelent for watercolour painting. It is an expensive brush but it is worth it, if you're looking for a soft pointy watercolour brush. It takes a lot of water and it is easy to clean.
