How this work for Bose s1 pro

It definitely does I have been using it with my Bose S1 pro for years

Does this system have a feedback cancellation system built in (that auto eq's out ringing / whistling resonance when mike picks up spkr sound)?

It does not have any signal processing for feedback elimination but what it does have is a very tight super cardioid puller pattern so it does a very good job of rejecting sound that is off access. Speak to the front of Mike and be mindful of your levels and you shouldn’t have any problems with the system and feedback at all

Can the grill be replaced with a ball grille?

U can get the newer model mic that has ball type grill and looks like a beta58 grill. I am not sure u can replace grill of the old one with a ball.
