I bought the red version from Amazon Warehouse (Like New). The box had been opened before but the bike was not put together before. The number plate was missing a screw and the sticker on the front was scratched and ripped. Not a huge deal.The bike went together easily however some things needed adjusted. The steering tube had a notchy feeling so I backed off the top nut a half turn and that fixed the issue. The chain and rear wheel (pre-assembled) were also very tight but I was able to loosen that up a bit. The rest of the assembly was simple and I didn't need the manual (it's a bicycle, not a rocket engine).As for the ergonomics and the SmartStart system, I think it's fantastic. This bicycle looks like it was made for a child's body. It's not all scrunched up like most children's bikes and the proportions are perfect for my son. Really impressed.My son is 42" tall and has an inseam of ~17 inches. The 14" bike is perfect for him AND he has room to grow. He's able to put his tippy toes down which gives him confidence and he still has enough room to comfortable pedal. VERY happy with the purchase. This is the perfect child's pedal bike and the price is likely the best on the market.HIGHLY recommended.

The media could not be loaded. My son loves his bike he’s 4 still using training wheels! But feels like he's going super fast! Brakes are great! Super stable! Have no issues with tires!

I purchased this for my son's third birthday. aside from the package coming a bit damaged, I was weary about continuing to open further but everything seemed to be undamaged in the Box. I easily put it together myself in under 30 minutes perfect height for my little guy he's already trying to make it two-wheeler!

It seems like a nice solid bike and my kid thinks it is cool. It is not easy to pedal for a small child, a little stiff but we haven’t had it long so hoping it loosens. One of the pedals was defective and wouldn’t stay on but the company quickly sent us a new one when we asked.

My grandsons broke arrived 3 days late and was basically just tossed in a large box with all the parts loose in the box also. The bike appeared to be used bc it was all scratched up and had marks on parts of it. It was absolutely unbelievable that any item would be sent in that condition. Obviously, bike is being sent back!

Bought this for my 3yr old boy. He hopped right on and off he went. Very sold bike with some nice details - sharp looking. It was pretty easy to assemble, perhaps with the exception of the handlebars. They have a connection type that I had never encountered before and I am a very seasoned assembler! Eventually I figured it out and we are both quite pleased with this purchase. I disabled the hand break for now. The bike has coaster brakes and those are enough for the moment.
