ALEX Jr. Tots Fluffy Friends Paper Animal Activity

We purchased the Alex Jr Tots Fluffy Friends paper activity kit for my 16 month old son. The kit itself includes 4 separate activities which are organized separately. The quality of the materials is great and the animals, stickers, and shredded paper are all nice bright colors. The activities always turn out super cute and we've been sending them off to grandparents so they have some of his "art." The animals themselves have sticky paper already attached to them so there is no glue, the only mess you are really facing depends on how carried away your toddler gets with the shredded paper or how many stickers they put on things that are not part of the activity itself...We purchased a total of 5 Alex art activity kits to give my son something new to experiment with each day and have so far been happy with all of them. The Alex Jr "Tots" activity kits are definitely better for younger (up to 2 years, depending on skill/experience level) toddlers, any toddlers older than that and you might want to get their projects in the blue/teal boxes which have more pieces/steps and take more time as opposed to the "Tots" ones in the white boxes. My 16 month old son spends around 10 minutes on each of the Fluffy Friends activities with almost no help from me (just the occasional pointing or directions), the regular Alex projects in the blue/teal boxes keep him entertained but I end up doing a lot of the gluing or other steps myself.

Very cute wrapped individually. Shredded paper (like tissue paper) different colors, and then you have large pictures on thick card stock like paper that you take a layer off and it becomes a sticker the shape of an animal and you stick the shredded tissue paper on that “sticky” area. Low mess. My 3.5 and 2 year old girls loved it. Bonus is the stickers that come as well to put on top of the shredded tissue. Awesome! I really love this company Alex Jr. and have also purchased the mosaic sticker pictures. It’s also very cute and with that one my husband loved doing it with the kids! (I was not paid for this review, or the product) just love it!

I myself liked everything about, my 2 yo enjoyed too but it ended very fast. He didn’t bother putting it piece by piece, instead he took a handful and smashed it against the sticky paper, it was brief fun. He had more fun putting stickers on it. Anyway I guess it was just a bit early for us but now I have 4 of handmade gifts for grandparents! Also not fun cleaning after those little pieces of paper))

I am doing a 3 day potty training plan with my 2 and half year old. I used this item as one of her prizes since we were going to be spending a log weekend at home together. She has done the cat, bunny, and bear so far and loves doing them! We took a large piece of paper and glued each of the animals to that paper, and since there are more stickers than can fit in the animals we decorated the paper with the extra stickers around the animal. She is very pleased with her crafts!

This is a very cute fast and mess free craft. My 2 year old just finished making the cat and was very pleased that she did it almost all by herself. It stinks because the bunny is supposed to be pink and they gave use orange instead. I wish they checked how their product was packaged. Its not a big deal but still a bummer.

Bought this as a craft activity for my 2.5 year old girl. I really like the idea, and the fact that each collage is separately wrapped. It does not require glue so mess free. I gave it 4 stars because it is a little pricey.

My toddler loved this project. It's super cute and easy for a toddler she was obsessed with it. The only issue is that each animal takes no more than 5 mins to complete so you can do the whole box in 1 sit down. I wish it would take longer to complete as it doesn't last at all.

I love having "craft projects" to do with my little one who doesn't quite grasp the concept of art yet. It's fun for me at least to have a little activity to do with him, and to get him engaged in something different.

Alex toys seldom disappoint and my little granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed doing the crafts in this kit. It is so approachable since each craft is in its individual packaging. Great for young children once an adult shows them how to do it.

Little bits of paper gets everywhere ( but you can clean up). Granddaughter 2 1/2 loved these.
