Elevate's Citrus Detox Green Tea, is a nice blend of loose leaf Tea with herbs and things like nettle, spearmint, even rose petals. Aroma and flavor superb! I mix this Tea half n half with some Crushed Leaf Kratom, 8 oz water, simmer for a good hour with pinch of Lemon or citric acid... then Aeropress! Makes a fantastic Kratom herbal tea.

I've become an avid green tea drinker and have made a habit of consuming one liter of fresh brewed daily. I use the Breville One Touch Tea kettle, that I highly recommend due to the necessity of not overheating the water or over steeping, especially green tea, which renders it bitter. That being said, I do enjoy herbal ingredients alone or mixed with tea leaves periodically. This blend is strong on citrus and spearmint which is the main scents when you open the package. If you rip open a typical tea bag and compare the contents with quality loose tea, the instant observation is that quality loose tea is actually dried leaves that after brewing plump out to appear almost like they were just picked. Most tea bag tea is more like dust. This blend is somewhere in between. One problem with that is that when brewing in anything with a brew basket or container with anything but microscopic holes, your tea will be full of floating debris. Not critical but a small detriment. The chopped up nature of the actual tea leaves to me allows for more oxidation and less quality. The taste of the brew is pleasant. Relaxing and fragrant and a nice change. Not sure the Detox label is much more than marketing. I don't know any mechanism this would have that regular green tea doesn't possess. I love the mild grassy flavor of the tea I normally use sourced from India but also drink it faithfully for the growing therapeutic side benefits with it's active ingredient of EGCG. Sourcing is another question mark. This tea is from China and may be perfectly good. The land in many areas in China is said to have more heavy metals due to pollution and other factors, so I try to avoid teas sourced from China. All things considered, this is a worthy, refreshing, pleasant tea, more aromatic that green tea, that's a nice change. I am enjoying it but will default to my full leaf Himalayan green tea as usual.

Mint is not listed as one of the main flavors, but it's pretty evident right as you open it that it should be.

I'm glad I came across Elevate Tea CITRUS DETOX Green Tea. I'm a fan of loose leaf teas and this mix is healthy and vivifying. It also happens to taste great. How well it detoxs I can't say, but with added ingredients like nettle, ginger, maté, spearmint, tumeric, rose petals and mallow flowers, it *has* to be good for me. Ginger, mint, and nettle are the predominant flavors over the green tea, with just a suggestion of citrus flavor. It has a medium caffeine content so is a good replacement for coffee. I prefer to use my Ingenuity pot with built-in filter when preparing. I brew the first infusion for just about a minute, and the second and third ones for longer. By the third pass the flavor is receding but the tea still has color. I will definitely be getting this again. Packaged in Illinois. ~ Kort

I personally prefer Japanese green teas which have much more interesting and natural flavors. This is pretty generic as far as tea goes. If you could think of the most neutral thing that qualifies as green tea this might be it.

We enjoyed the lift that comes after sipping this tea. Smarter people than myself may be able to explain the detoxification properties of the tea, as I'm not sure how well it detoxes the body. But what I can say is that it tastes good, and it offers a nice little "lift" throughout the day. It tastes good hot when made with a tea ball, but we also enjoyed it cold when we used our iced tea brewer. Chilled over ice, it was very crisp and refreshing. If you need a nice, gentle pick-me-up with a great taste throughout your day, you should give it a try.

it is rubbish as a product and i am trying to contact the amazon department and it is a total failure. I thought it was an individual sachet package but it is not
