Charles River ApparelMen's Performer Jacket

You can't go wrong with Charles River. I used this jacket last school year for our school jackets. I ran short one with my order and thankfully amazon had one.

This jacket has the soft tiger-stripe lining, not the scratchy white lining that sticks and drags as you try to put it on or take it off. This jacket is soft and warm, and is comfortable to wear.I bought one of these jackets four years ago. I lost weight, and since <I will never put the weight back on>, I gave it to my brother who is taller than me and played College football as an offensive lineman. He loves this jacket. It is the first lined windbreaker that fits him. Well, two surgeries later... I bought another jacket.I really do love this jacket.

I purchased this item to replace a beloved jacket I owned for 15 years but lost when I left it behind at an unidentified location. I'm glad I did my research before purchasing this jacket (The Performer-style 9921) because it paid off! I read so many reviews and compared similar jackets but ultimately I chose this one. It's just like a jacket I bought 22 years ago (still have but it's dying) and I know it will last me. It keeps you so warm that at times I would have to remove it (lately it's been in the 30s here in Southern California). It repells the rain and keeps you very dry. I love the zippers on the outter pockets, won't loose your phone! If I could wish for one thing is a pocket on the inside of the jacket (my old jacket has one).When I removed the jacket from the box it felt heavy but it's not, nor is it a flimsy windbreaker. It is a well made nylon jacket with an inner lining of sweatshirt like fleece material that extends into the sleeves. It has a roomy hood with a drawstring and the bottom hem has elastic for a snug fit.I can understand some reviews about the sleeves and the possibility of reaching/extending your arms and having the sleeves pulling back exposing the bare arms, but the elasticized cuffs really clinches the wrists and if you size right, bare arms are not a problem. For me, the medium size was spot on perfect (I'm 5'3" 135lbs). I was going to purchase a small but so very glad I bought the medium! I really don't like buying clothing online because you never know what you'll get and returns are a hassle, but this purchase was smooth and I could not be happier.

Jacket is nice and warm. Gave it 3 stars because the sleeves are slightly short and tight around the back when you cross your arms. Suggest you order one size bigger. I ordered a 4xl, should of ordered a 5xl.

The jacket fits a little loosely so you can wear a layer underneath. It definitely keeps you dry and also warm. Would definitely recommend. We have bought two of these and love them both.

I bought this for my daughter so she can wear it in school because she don’t like to wear a thick and fluffy jacket during cold season because it won’t fit in her locker. She likes it, been wearing it everyday.

I am 5'10" and weigh 190 lb. and normally buy a large. This jacket definitely fits like an XL both in the body and the sleeves. Fortunately the jacket has velcro fasteners on the sleeves so I can keep them from covering part of my hand. Since the jacket is a bit large and a bit stiff it is not going to pack as small as a regular large size made of soft material.I bought the burgundy colored jacket because it was cheaper. Although it is not a dark burgundy it looks a bit dull due to the matte finish of the material. Still, I think it looks rich and I like it.I have not worn it in the rain enough to comment on how waterproof it is or isn't. I did discover that due to its large fit the wind could blow under the edge and aid the ventilation which is good for me because I sweat a lot. There is a drawstring at the bottom so you can tighten it especially when it is cold out. The jacket does not have underarm zippers. The ventilation is provided through a vent under where the top layer of the jacket overlaps the lower layer.While this jacket does have a nice lining it does not have an inner pocket which is disappointing.

Okay, while I don't like to review items without trying, I can't make it rain to confirm how well it works.It did though arrive in good time, albeit the mail strike here in Canada.After reading reviews, I ordered a size down that I would usually go for. I'm a large guy, and while it felt like a risk I'm always pleased with the return service.Well the suggestions to order a size smaller were correct, there's still a little space so I can wear some layers underneath, useful for this time of year. There had been mention of some shortness in the arms, yes if you stretch out you will see plenty of wrist, but you have to remember the coat is waterproof, it won't stretch like other materials. It is though a nice quality.Edit For Waterproof Review: It works great, completely waterproofed in up to heavy rain. Better in cooler climates than warmer, as I did found that if it was still warm when it rained, you tend to sweat underneath.

That kind of a jacket type is comfortable with inside and outside patterns what I was looking for a long time. I used to have jackets and pants with pattern types which were very popular in 1980 to 1990s clothes. It is similar to Charles River Apparel jacket patterns. It is not like modern patterns of clothes are uncomfortable and itchy for my sensitive skin.I’m a half Korean student. I showed my Charles River Apparel jacket to my Korean friends in the same class. They asked me where did you get it because they are looking for that what they want is similar to mine.The fast shipping and available tracking number.
