STOP! looking any further these inserts are Incredible!
I really don't do many reviews, I sometimes spend so much time reviewing the "Reviews" that I feel like I really don't have time for writing the reviews but I am just amazed at the quality of this product at this price point. I have developed several severe arthritic degeneration in the knuckle of my big toe due to repeated trauma and breaks of this toe. The podiatrist recommended carbon fiber foot plates and suggested I get a pair because the left big toe knuckle was heading in the same direction. I blanched at the price ( over $100 for two). I stumbled across the these while looking for a less expensive steel version. This $25 "pair" of inserts are more than impressive! First feature is that these are "contoured" to fit very nicely into the shoe and provide proper base for your foot. Neoprene is used as a cushioning beneath a very high quality cloth material. The neoprene actually extends beyond the insert in edges by @ 1/4 inch. This allows you to place the insert into your shoe using some force so that it fits nice and snugly and does not move at ALL! Because of the difficulty design they can still build removed very easily from one shoe to another! Not sure about long term quality but will post an update later er! BUY THEM NOW!

So far, so good - simple easy system
The design is simple & straightforward, they arrived with a series of bends in them that made it look like it was designed for a boot with a high heel. But those flattened out so they become a nice flat sole for whatever kind of shoe you wish to use. This type does not offer any arch support or anything else but simple, straightforward, protective, distributes weight well.

Now I Can Return To Working In Our Wetlands Feeling A Lot Safer
I spend a lot of time on our Southwest Florida property trimming mangroves and removing invasive plants. It is a very unpleasant/dangerous environment loaded with biting insects, poisonous snakes, scorpions, spiders, mice and rats, unstable footing, and especially plants with sharp spines/spikes that pierce clothing and break off under your skin. Two of these with needle-sharp foliage are Reclinata Palms and Bayonet Plants, both of which are found on our property. My son has ended up in the ER with some of these spines under his skin. Unfortunately they were so deep that they had to be cut out and sutured. When I say that they can cut through clothing, I have had them pierce pants, shirts, and most recently a pair of Tru-Spec vibram sole combat boots. I rely on heavy boots both for support and protection against the previously mentioned hazards. Last week I mistakenly stepped on a dried out Reclinata Palm frond that had razor sharp 4" spines facing upwards. One of the spines sliced through the Vibram sole of my boots and buried itself an inch inside my foot. I tried to pull the spine out of my boot but realized from the blood flow that it wasn't going to happen. After loosening the laces and pulling out the tongue, I managed to pull my foot out of the boot. When I was able to pull the spine out of the boot it appeared that the tip was still on it. If it had broken off--and you really don't know for a few days--it would have required surgery.Fortunately I had my tetanus shot about a year ago. My wife (an ARNP) checked out the wound, cleaned it up, applied some type of coal tar medicine to draw out poisons, and properly bandaged it. Evidently the tip did not break off as it healed just fine after one week. But it was a wake-up call to either find steel soled boots or inserts that could fit inside my Tru-Specs. I really like the support of my boots and searched Amazon for a pair of steel inserts. You never know how something like this will fit, and whether it will provide the protection required without rubbing against your foot and creating its own problems. It turns out that these Servus Puncture-Resistant insoles fit my boots perfectly. The steel is flexible enough to shape itself to the bottom of your foot and they are surprisingly comfortable. Solving a difficult and dangerous problem for only $23.69 appeals to my Midwestern value system. The fact that they are also comfortable makes them a win-win. Don't forget to remove the insole already in your boots before replacing them with a pair of these.

) They are comfortable and give me confidence
I ordered this to slip into a pair of steel toe work boots I'm wearing from Walmart. I was nervous walking on jobsites with nails exposed. (Accidents happen!) They are comfortable and give me confidence. Cheap fix for a cheap pair of boots. I'll update if a nail punctures!! So far so good.

My feet feel safe in my worn out tennis shoes ...
My feet feel safe in my worn out tennis shoes. They are flat though, so keep your insoles on top of them if you have space in your shoes. Future models could have curvy insoles attached to top. I would buy one size smaller than my shoe next time, because they can be hard to get inside the shoe.
