Bitten: Season 1

Who is afraid of the big, blonde wolf? Laura Vandervoort(Smallville, V) plays the part of Elena, the last female werewolf known to be living on Earth. She struggles with her daily life with her instincts heightened to that of an animal. Living in a large city, she finds herself being invited to Stonehaven, the place where she was bitten and turned into a werewolf. Stonehaven is far more important than other havens for monsters however. It is the species' ancestral home and is now under attack. A series of murders threatens to expose the species and kill her Pack/family. This is the complete first season of an excellent show based on the Otherworld novels by Kelley Armstrong. Decent CGI/effects and VERY heated scenes on some episodes with Elena/Laura satisfying her urges if you know what I mean. Lost Girl meets Twilight is how to best describe this. Enjoy!

I haven't watched it yet but i like these kind of movies. The reason i bought it is because i got the second season at a dollar store & thought i should get the first so i would know how it started.

I Love the Bitten series, I was finally able to sit down and watch every episode. The last disk has a defect, the picture goes from a large screen, to a really small screen twice and the words bounce. Since it took me a little bit to watch the whole series, it was to late to return or exchange this DVD, so my advice would be to watch any DVD that is ordered as soon as you can, otherwise good money goes out the door for a defective item.

in this Laura Vandervoort plays the photographer Elena Michaels. but Elena have a secret that she can't tell her boyfriend or her bestfriend. Elena is the only female in the whole world. the story line goes that a murder has taken place near the home of Elena's pack. there Alpha calls his way word children home to help find out what's going on. they eventually learn that one of the former pack members was funding an up rising of mutts ( what they call werewolves not aliened with the pack) from the shadows. this man wanted revenge on the pack because he was denied the spot as Alpha. the CGI wolves look almost real and the all the pack members act you could believe they are family. if that doesn't do it for you and you're a lady the hot guys are either short less or walking around nude. ow guys Laura Vandervoort isn't half bad in the buff.

I loved this show. It pretty much follows the book and they actors and actresses were beautiful. The bad guys were weird and ugly and disgustingly easy to hate. Oh when will the next season be out?!

Una serie fantástica acerca de la vida de los metamorfos conocidos como hombres lobo, de los cuales, nunca ha habido una mujer en los clanes, desde el punto de vista de única mujer lobo que ha podido sobrevivir a la transición. Si bien los CGI de los lobos no son de la calidad que vemos en los filmes, la historia en si es interesante, aunque cabe mencionar con escenas fuertes de índole sexual, por lo tanto solo apta para adultos.el idioma es ingles, con subtitulos en ingles. Si bien la puedes ver estos días por streaming, sabemos que es temporal por que las series liego las quitan. Vale la pena para un fan de este tipo de historias.A series that can take you in. A strong female character that compares with that of olivia dunham in the fringe series, even more aggresive, only less mature and suspicious. A noble companion that will always sacrifice himself. A truth to be discovered inside a very wild world

Excellent series. Great acting and an excellent storyline. The chemistry between Elena and Clay is almost palpable, and as the storyline unfolds, we are treated to great character development of all the cast. There are many layers to each member of "the pack". None of them are one dimensional. The special effects are good and not overdone and the sets are great, especially Stonehaven, which almost seems to be a character itself, with it's beautiful exterior and dark secrets hidden inside it's walls This series raises the question of what people are really like behind the civilzed mask we show to the world. So glad Seeason 2 is in production!

Absolutely loved this series. Just bought Season 2 and looking forward to watching that. I must admit I was worried that the DVD would not live up to the books but I needn't have bothered as it was brilliant. OK there were differences but that's only to be expected when transferring from book to film. The character of Elena Michaels was brought brilliantly to life as were the others with actors who seemed to match those in the books. The only one who didn't ring true for me was Clay Danvers who didn't fit my mental image of him gained whist reading the books, but hey - one of all the cast who didn't fit my preconceptions isn't bad. Anyway - thoroughly enjoyable
