It is so loud. Like jarring. Which is good for it’s purpose!! However it’s bulky and not inconspicuous. Also it’s really easy to accidentally set it off which freaks people out and myself randomly. Really wish it was smaller.

I purchased these for my kids. Being stuck at home, they've been spending a ton of time outside but I'm often inside with the baby. I wanted a way to quickly know if they needed help. They're inexpensive enough they reach have one but that doesn't affect the noise level, after testing, I am positive if they needed me, I'd immediately hear it. It's loud.

These are pretty loud, but I honestly thought they’d be louder. They are good to get someone’s attention though. It takes a little bit of effort to pull the pin, so they don’t go off accidentally. And the round circle on the front is just for looks. I’ve got one on my keychain and I’ll be giving the others to family to put on theirs as well.

I purchased several alarms as a package. I also purchased batteries with it. I tested the alarm to see if it worked when I received it. After a several months when I decided to test it again, it was dead. I was surprised being that I had not used it AT ALL since I purchased it. I replaced the batteries (with the ones that came with it) and it still did not work. I tried a few other batteries that came with the alarm. They did not work either. Apparently the batteries were also dead. I had bought several of these alarms as gifts. The result was the same. I am glad I did not have to rely on this product to deter a harmful situation. It was definitely POOR QUALITY AND NOT WORTH THE MONEY. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! IT DEFINITELY DOES NOT WORK!!!

This device is a horrible idea and only further reinforces the stereotype that women are weak and cannot protect themselves. I was given this as a gift by a misogynist in my family, who gave one to all the females and only females, and then patted himself on the back for "protecting" us. Mind you this is a man that absolutely cannot protect himself, and yet did not feel the need to get one for himself, as he claims this is only for women. A knife, gun, or mace is a much more efficient weapon, won't piss off the people around you, and does not reinforce the stereotype of women as weak and needing to be protected by men. Since this is a man that doesn't take no for an answer, I had to throw it away. Hope no one else has the same experience I do.

I was excited to get it but realized after keeping it with me for nearly a year, and then trying to show someone how it worked, that it didn’t! Battery replacements ($6 for 3 batteries) didn’t fix the problem either. They just are not failsafe. Glad I didn’t truly need it or I would have been in real trouble. It’s just not worth any money if it’s not reliable!

I was excited to have this alarm as there have been a number of incidents of people being attacked. It was less than 2 weeks of putting the battery in and a man where I was said my car was making noise. I knew the keys were out and couldn't figure out what could make noise. It was this alarm. It went off just being in the car. I pushed it in to shut it off but it kept going off and I finally had to loosen the battery to make it stop. I want a product that will not give false alarms and last longer than this one. Maybe the company can weigh in with information about this
