Idk how much it does with brightening corals but it is great coral food for keeping nutrients down as opposed to daily feedings of reef roids

I was a bit skeptical after hearing some folks praise this reef food on some Facebook groups. I had been using Reef Roids at the time, which my corals loved. I just hated how I would need to perform water changes after feeding Roids because the phosphate levels would skyrocket from the food. So after a bit of pressure from other hobbyists, I decided to give Benereef a shot. I ordered this stuff last year and my old container of Reef Roids has been collecting dust ever since. My corals love it, it does not pollute my tank with phosphates, and I love how I no longer have to work water changes into my feeding schedule.

Great product. My corals Loves it. Does not seem to increase phosphates or other water parameters. Does make tank cloudy when used as directed but clears up in 20 minutes. I have circulation set around 18-19 times a minute using filter floss and a 100 micron polishing pad. Lots copepods and phytoplankton. No chemicals used except when dipping corals. The clown fish go crazy for it. Amazon replaced the first order as they lost it.... I got the 40g size. Will last a long time as you do not use much. Very highly recommendI will update review after i have been using after a few months :)

Just started using so will have to update review later. But as of now, my water quality hasn't been affected by using like reef roids does my phosphate. Corals reacted well during spot feeding so hopefully they continue to do well.

I used this product for a year. My corals were healthy and lively. The polyps extended waiting for their food. Whether I target fed or broadcast fed when time was limited. The tank thrived and was colorful and corals plump. After a home move, having a baby and many other life distractions. I didnt feed Benepets for several months. After just a few days of broadcast feeding. My corals already look more colorful and plump.

The media could not be loaded. I'm recycling a 40 gallon tank I had previously set up. Left the country and had to sell all my coral because i could only find people who could feed fish not corals. After returning i started to purchase new corals while cycling the new tank - keeping the fish and corals in another smaller established tank.I had given much of my reef food away , so i decided to try the benereef food. After the first dose i saw immediate polyp extension on my new hammers, torches, and octospawn plus several sps corals. The growth was twice the size as before using benereef! I'm VERY impressed! I use a mix of frozen and dry food, and my new tank will be mixed lps, softees and sps.I'm using an AI Hydra HD 26 over a 40 cube and a 20 long with a 10g sump. Plus 2 pico reefs.
