Pool Use? NO! Outdoor use, absolutely.
The fit is perfect, however, if you plan on using them in a pool, do not. The water holes in the outer sole, after two uses have cracked. After five, the cracks are almost a quarter inch long. I think it is the chemicals in the chlorinated water that dries the sole out prematurely. If you plan on NOT using them as shower shoes or pool shoes, and plan on walking creeks, hiking, canooing, etc..these are fantastic shoes with an outer sole that grips almost as well as Vibram. I DO recommend them if not using them in a pool setting.

Took to Hawaii.
I like the style and the fit. They breathe and are also comfortable to wear for short walks. I can't wear them all day, I don't think they have enough support to be comfortable for all day. The biggest issue is that after a few times in the water to protect my feet from the reef, the insoles came right off. You can slip the insoles back in but they seem to never sit the same as new. So good for walking, short hikes, but not for in the water.

Water shoe
Purchased for a cruise to be worn on a beach excursion. My husband actually wore them more than I expected because he said they were so comfortable. Easy to slip on & look like they would drain well. Hope he gets more wear out of them.

You get pretty well exactly what you pay for with these.
These are ok, as long as you have modest expectations for them. You can see immediately that they are not particularly well made and so they probably won't hold up long. The pieces are glued together sloppily, with bits of the glue extending beyond the edges of the seams at several points. They were cheap to buy, so not surprisingly they were not made by craftsman using the finest materials. That said, they aren't bad looking, and they are fairly comfortable, at least to me. I am normally a 10.5 Wide, and purchased an 11 and that fits me comfortably. There are several holes in the bottom of the tread to let water drain out of them, but they are smartly covered with mesh to keep sand and stuff from coming up into your feet. The fabric of the upper seems at least somewhat breathable so they shouldn't be too hot. The tread is ok.These are very lightweight shoes. They don't give a lot of support and I would not want to take them over a lot of rough ground. They are certainly not every day shoes, they aren't made well enough. On the other hand, if you need something more than flip-flops for the occasional day at the beach or boating, they are just fine.If you expect $60-80 a pair quality for these, you will be sorely disappointed. For what I paid, they are fine.

thumbs up
They are quality made and comfortable. They are light weight and have places for the water to drain out. I am very pleased with them.

Comfortable in the water
The shoe is a little tight while putting it on. Comfortable in the water.

Quality for price
Haven't used them in the water yet, but seem great quality for the cost. I always wear a 9.5 my shoe and boots the size 10 fit as a 9.5. Glad I didn't go for a 9.
