green start book towers: little color books (10 Chunky Books Made from 98% Recycled Materials) Hardcover – June 13, 2013

I bought these books as a Christmas present for my 3-month-old, and since he's a little young for them right now, his 2-year-old big brother is reading them. They are chunky books made from recycled materials. Each book has 6 illustrations that correspond do the vehicle type indicated on the spine. There is no other text besides the name of each vehicle. The illustrations are vivid and fun.Since the pages are very chunky, my son thought that he was missing a page and ended up splitting one of the pages in half, separating the cardboard all the way to the spine. A little glue fixed it up in no time.Also, since the pages are so chunky, there is a gap in the spine when the book is opened and my son managed to pinch his finger in there when he went to close the book. But now he knows not to put his finger in there.Overall, great purchase (especially if you get a thrill from putting toys and books away!)

I wish the box were made more for the child to take the books in and out...it looks like clever packaging but it isn't easy to get the books in and out for an adult, much less a 15 month old. There are two flaps under the lid that make it very difficult and they aren't going to last long. And you can't just remove them because the rope/handle is connected to them. I had hoped she'd carry it around and take books in and out...but I have to take the books out for her and put them back in, though she does carry around the empty package sometimes.

A friend gave it to our son on his first birthday and we love it! He has not stopped playing with it since then and now he is 20 months old. I only can write positive things about this product: is from recycled material, has cute pictures (with very vibrant colors), material is durable, is very easy to carry with you and has great price. For all of this, I also purchased it for one of his little friends.

Our 13 month old loves these books more than anything. He is obsessed with anything transportation! The books are all over the house and in the car because he always has one in his hand, looking at them all day long, and asking us to read them with him.

This is the perfect gift for early story listeners. The size fits in the childs hand, the images and words are appropriate for youngsters. And the parent/child bonding opportunities are precious.

Getting our toddler ready for a trip cross country, and these books are great little sturdy ones for her to carry around. We bought a couple with great flaps and objects that need parental supervision, but these are great too because they can be out and get the wear and tear of daily use.

Ordered these for my 19 month old grandbaby. Perfect size for her.

Not very many pages in each one and they aren't supreme quality though I haven't had one break yet surprisingly.
